00:27stand for pure driving fun and a thirst for adventure. However, previous soft tops could
00:33sometimes be a source of frustration, as opening and closing them was often laborious.
00:39But now there's an exciting solution. The e-top, an electric retractable roof developed by
00:46accessories manufacturer Best Top and set to hit the market in early November.
00:50The e-top works like a classic convertible top. It can be opened or closed within a few seconds at
00:58the push of a button. This convenience is a real game changer, especially for all off-road enthusiasts
01:05who want to react quickly to changing weather conditions. The e-top relies on high-precision
01:11technology. It features laser-cut steel hinges and durable electric motors that are designed
01:17to last at least 10,000 cycles. This means that you can rely on the roof's functionality for a long
01:26time, whether you often head out into nature or simply enjoy city traffic.
01:33The soft top is made of a three-layer fabric construction, the outer layer of which has been
01:38chemically treated to be water-repellent and UV-resistant. The tinted vinyl windows, which only let in
01:4627% of light, provide additional protection from the sun and prying eyes.
01:53Incidentally, the e-top is the result of Bestop's acquisition of My Pop, which had previously
01:59developed soft tops for the Bronco and Wrangler. The roof is expected to cost around $5,000 and will
02:07come with a 24-month warranty. This makes the ETO a worthwhile investment for anyone who values
02:15comfort and quality. Those interested can easily install the ETO P themselves, but those who
02:22prefer can also have it installed by professionals, as both OIM options and retrofit models will be
