02:01Car power exceeded my expectations completely.
02:03In the car, it just made power and just kept going freight train style.
02:16Holy crap, that's fast.
02:19I tell you, I thought I've never obviously gone that fast.
02:23But um, you can't do it without confidence.
02:25And the confidence comes from all the people that are here that prepare the car.
02:29But also the engineers engineer it.
02:33Awesome.
02:34I left it in sport.
02:46Yeah.
02:48So, the LT7 basically is unhinged.
02:51It delivers this power in an obscene way.
02:53And how well it puts the speed down and how comfortable the car is to drive if we squeeze out a little bit more speed.
03:01What a proud moment for Corvette.
03:03It's been historic year for us.
03:14Alright, Corvette C6CR1, C7CR1, and now C8CR1.
03:18Last generation ZR1 was incredible.
03:36I really thought that was a pimple though.
03:38We're not going to get any faster or better than that.
03:40Which is immediately obvious as soon as you hit the straightaway.
03:43This now puts an American made built engineered in America car at the highest echelon of speeds and only boutique brands and kind of unattainable cars are above us now.

04:46We've always had some fast parts, but this is now another level of fast.
04:56At 233 on the first run and then 233.5, we had a pretty good idea where the number was going to be and so today we proved that it's a testament to just how strong the engineering teams are.
05:07The analysis teams and the development engineers that can deliver on what we thought was going to be.
05:11The conditions were absolutely fabulous 233 average.

05:21It's about 2 mil an hour faster than we did yesterday.

05:42Today, it's all about the breathtaking car of the season.
05:46The new 2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1.
05:51This American masterpiece has just reached an incredible 375 kilometers per hour setting new standards in the world of super sports cars.
06:01With its twin turbocharged 5 liter V8 engine, the Corvette ZR1 delivers an impressive 1066 horsepower and even surpasses previous records held by General Motors.
06:14During the test drive on the high-speed oval track at ATP Automotive Testing in Papenburg, Germany, Chevrolet once again demonstrated its innovative strength.
06:24Led by GM President Mark Race and accompanied by an experienced engineer, the ZR1 achieved a whopping 373 kilometers per hour in 6th gear at red light.
06:36This is not only the fastest American production car, but also the fastest car GM has ever built.
06:43Five engineers even managed to exceed the 370 kilometers per hour mark or more during the test.
06:50Tate, which underlines the impressive performance of this vehicle.
06:55The Corvette ZR1 felt incredibly stable on the almost 80 kilometers long track with a nearly 50 degrees incline.
07:03Chris Barber, the ZR1's lead development engineer, describes the driving experience as something you would experience on the highway at high speed.
07:12This car is unbelievable, but just as powerful.
07:17Equipped with the standard suspension, an aero package with a regular spoiler, carbon fiber ground effects, Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires and aluminum wheels, as well as the top speed mode, which optimizes the suspension system for maximum speed runs, the ZR1 sets new standards.
