00:15Today, we're taking you on an exciting journey through the latest developments of the 2025 BMW 2 Series Grand Coupe, which is being launched in its second generation as the F74.
00:25Exactly five years after the debut of its predecessor, BMW is presenting an impressive mix of tried and tested charm and fresh, innovative details with the new model that will make every car enthusiast's heartbeat faster.
00:41The similarity to the predecessor model is immediately apparent at first glance, but numerous new elements give the F74 a completely new look.
00:49The front of the four-door coupe impresses with a new apron design, a flatter kidney grille and narrower headlights, which give the vehicle a more dynamic and modern appearance.
01:00At the rear, the redesigned taillights with a distinctive notch at the bottom provide a fresh look that also makes the coupe appear in a completely new light at night.
01:14Particularly striking are the new daytime running light design and the optional iconic glow kidney grille with illuminated surround, which clearly differentiate the F74 from its predecessor.
01:24Another highlight is the exhaust system of the top model M235 Axe Drive, which is equipped with four unmistakable tailpipes.
01:35This model not only sets visual accents, but also offers an exclusive exhaust system and a distinctive kidney grille design with horizontal struts.
01:45In contrast, the lesser variants come with a mix of vertical and diagonal bars, which were previously only found in the 1 Series and X3.
01:54The powertrain of the M235 X-Drive DFD is particularly exciting, as it will be the only all-wheel drive option when it launches in March 2025, while all other variants will only drive the front wheels.
02:09At almost 4.50 meters long, the new BMW 2 Series Grand Coupe is 20 millimeters longer than its predecessor and thus remains similar in size to the 3 Series Generation E90.

05:16The BMW 220 Grand Coupe relies on a three-cylinder petrol engine with a 44-kilowatts, 100-horsepower electrical system, while the other models are equipped with four cylinders.
05:26The 208D and 220D diesels use the same combustion engine with 150 horsepower, with the system output of the 220D being increased to 163 horsepower thanks to the 44-kilowatts, 100-horsepower electrical system.
05:42The 220 starts with 170 horsepower and 280 torque, supported by a 20-horsepower and 55-torque starter generator.
05:50Um, the undisputed top model, the BMW M235X drive impresses with 300 horsepower and 400 torque, accelerates from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 4.9 seconds and can optionally be equipped with a comprehensive M technology package that includes additional body reinforcements.
06:11The new BMW 2R Grand Coupe also sets standards in terms of driver assistance systems.
06:20It offers the same high level as the new Iser with options such as the Driving Assistant Plus and the Driving Assistant Professional.
06:29The latter takes over steering and lane control as well as active cruise control for up to 210 kilometers per hour and supports active navigation guidance with a lane change assistant.
06:41With the parking assistant professional, the four-door coupe can even park remotely via smartphone, which is particularly practical in tight parking spaces.
06:53The first photos showed the new F74 in the impressive Brooklyn Gray color as the BMW M235X drive, which is sure to increase the anticipation for the new model.
