00:00We've been here before in situations like this where, you know,

00:04high pressure situation, we talk about pressure is a privilege.

00:07And, you know, we really just believed in just, it's always about one moment,

00:11it's one opportunity.

00:13It was, you know, credit to Oceanside and made it a great game.

00:17And, you know, sometimes there's a little luck that has to come into play,

00:20and sometimes you've got to create your own luck.

00:21And I thought we, our guys did a great job of just really being composed in the

00:25moments that we need to be.

00:27And our player who put the ball in the back of the NX, you know, he just,

00:30that's what he's built for, you know, those moments.

00:32And, you know, when the time came, you know, it was his time,

00:36and he finished a great goal.

00:38What does it mean to go to back-to-back county championships?

00:40Yeah, you know, it means a lot to you guys, you know.

00:43It's not, the road to get here is just not easy, you know.

00:46Triple-A soccer has become the parity.

00:49It's been just something, you know, different over the past five to ten years,

00:52you know, and, you know, for us to be back in this position, you know,

00:56it's not just for us, it's for a lot of the guys before us as well.

00:59We have a brotherhood that extends, and a lot of alumni that are, you know,

01:02have invested in this, and they were a part of this, you know, process as well.

01:06You know, some of our guys who have graduated, so.

01:08We hear like, oh, we're the defending champs.

01:10We get that until everyone wants to compete with defending champs,

01:11but we don't even think about last year.

01:13We're on this year, and we want to win.

01:15Like, we want to win because we want it for us, and we know that we're the captains,

01:18and we want our team to work hard and everyone to want it,

01:20and that's the one thing that we also have is the buy-in.

01:22Yeah, you know, when you get a taste of being into that situation in that moment,

01:26you know, I think that it's just, you know, we call it the buy-in.

01:30You know, we do a thing, it's called check-in all-in.

01:32These guys were all in from day one, and day one doesn't mean first day of practice.

01:36It means on the off-season, and I think that's what we saw from these guys.

01:39The off-season, they didn't skip a beat because they knew what it takes to get to this,

01:43to get back to this moment, and they wanted it, they really wanted it.

01:46So, it's something to be said when you're a junior and you've got to win,

01:50but when you're the senior and, you know, you want to put your stamp on your legacy

01:53and your moment, you know, when you're going to leave here,

01:55and these guys have bought in from the beginning.

01:57It's been awesome.

01:58I think it's definitely a win that describes the whole team as everyone bought in,

02:02not just from us on the field, but also the bench,

02:04because we told our bench, like, be loud and be loud for us to get us that energy,

02:08and they were as loud as possible, and we heard them every single second,

02:11and as what I always say to them is, we feed off their energy.

02:13And they gave us the energy, and I feel like getting a double overtime,

02:16like, when we went into it, and I kept hearing them scream.

02:18It was just, it was telling us, like, let's go, let's get it done now.

02:20I definitely feel that we're a different team now than we were then.

02:23That was, like, one of our first major knocks,

02:25like, one of our first big setbacks in the season,

02:27and we've had others, obviously, losses, ties, games we should have won,

02:31and, I don't know, I think we're just going to come with a different mentality mindset.

02:35To get back here, we don't take anything lightly.

02:38The boys are beyond ready to go, and we're really looking forward to it.
