00:00Hello and a warm welcome to the Tuning Blog Channel.
00:12Today, we will be introducing a product in the form of an endoscope camera.
00:19It was provided to us by Tesla. It is the NTS 500B.
00:24That's what it says here, and yes, it's basically an endoscope camera,
00:31not necessarily just for vehicles, but for general household use, and let's say for the Leon.
00:39However, Tesla states that it can also be used in, how should I say, professional areas.
00:48There are two cameras installed here at the front, one that films to the front, right?
00:54Here you can see the front area, and then you can switch here.
01:00That's pretty practical. It works directly and then you can see the side area.
01:06So, that means, if I test this on a cylinder, a motorcycle, a moped cylinder, something like that,
01:11or even a car cylinder, I can use it to look at the piston crown on one side
01:15and then I can use the ones on the side to look at the cylinder board.
01:18Um, there's a large display, on which I can just about be seen.
01:25Wait a minute.
01:26Yeah, well, anyway, it's a 5 inch color display.
01:30It actually has a sufficient resolution.
01:341280x720 isn't exactly a highlight, but you don't necessarily want to watch a movie on it,
01:40but it does its job, and that's what it does.
01:45I'll show you later, because we're going to take a look inside the cylinder on the mob.
01:52Take out the spark plug and take a look inside and then show you the video.
01:58Um, these are full HD recordings in 1920 by 1080.
02:03Um, there's a 22GB memory card integrated here.
02:09There's a small menu for it, you can set languages and so on and so forth.
02:13You can format the hard drive and transfer the data to your computer via the connection here below,
02:18right?
02:19Now you need a video or whatever, a USB-C and I think it's also charged with that.
02:24Oh no, you can't pull it over, you can take the memory card out here,
02:28you can pull it onto your computer if you need it and it's charged via the connection here.
02:32A standard USB-C connection is also included with a cable.
02:35There are also a couple of mirrors included, which you can put over the camera if necessary.
02:40Uh, yes, exactly. Otherwise, it has, so to speak, a relatively sturdy and robust construction.
02:47Up here, there's an extra, I don't know if you can see it here, an extra camera,
02:52which I think you can turn on an extra light somewhere, wherever.
02:58Well, let's take a look outside later.
03:01I can't find it right now, it's like lighting that basically illuminates the background,
03:05the work area.
03:08Yes, whether you need it now.
03:10Uh, the cable is 5 meters long, that's quite long, so you can do a lot with it.
03:15You can also take a look into the sill area. Maybe you can push the entire camera into the sill to
03:20see what it looks like at the front if there is no opening for it.
03:24Uh, yes, I'm referring to this very much in the area of vehicles, and of course the workshop is also a bit of
03:30my and our job here at Tuning Block.
03:33Uh, but as I said, you can also use it in the household area in any way.
03:37So, I can use it to look into the end to see whether it makes sense or not.
03:40But I can also see what's in there, is it clogged or not.
03:42And yes, of course there are countless areas of application.
03:47Uh, yes, what else is there to say?
03:52You can seamlessly switch between film and, well, between photos and video somehow, at least.
03:58I can't find it right now.
04:03But I still have it in mind that it definitely works.
04:06Without interruption.
04:08Uh, that's of course practical.
04:09Oh, yes, here's the lamp on the back, right?
04:12It's switched on down here.
04:14Uh, yeah, you can just switch back and forth.
04:17There's no interruption, no time that somehow stands still,
04:20and you can also adjust the brightness of the display.
04:23The brightness of the LEDs can also be adjusted so that it doesn't dazzle, right?
04:31There are different brightness levels here.
04:34It always depends on what you're examining, sometimes the LED is too bright, then you can reduce it.
04:39It's definitely very, very useful and yes, that's basically it.
04:44Uh, as far as I can remember, there are images in the focus range between 0.5 and 5 centimeters.
04:49That's pretty cool, the whole thing is waterproof.
04:52That's also cool.
04:53So, that means if you really want to take a close look inside, you can do that.
04:57And my car certainly has enough places where moisture is involved.
05:01So that's quite practical.
05:04The camera has IP67 protection, that should actually be sufficient for everything.
05:08Exactly, so that's about the device and I'd say let's go outside for a moment.
05:13Let me take a look inside the cylinder of this little mob, let me show you.
05:17And yes, now we've arrived here.
05:20So, I had to build something here.
05:22I put a piece of wood here so that the screen is angled a bit.
05:26Unfortunately, I'm alone, so I have to get this going now, film it, show you something and, uh, yeah,
05:32the spark plug is out.
05:35That's me in the picture just now.
05:37And now I'm going to take a look inside.
05:39Exactly, so, for me, this is a really cool picture.
05:46For example, you can even see the stamp numbers on the piston, right?
05:50You can see what the piston looks like in general.
05:52And then you can switch here and now you can see the raceway, right?
06:04It's a bit of a shaky affair.
06:05No, that wasn't the raceway, that was the thread where the spark plug is screwed into the cylinder,
06:12right?
06:13And now you can see here, for example, a little bit of cross slot or cross cut or whatever it's called.
06:18Yeah, I think that's what it's called, right?
06:20You can look at it all around.
06:21As I said, it's a little bit difficult for me to get it in line here,
06:26because I'm filming at the same time.
06:29But I think the image is pretty sharp and really cool.
06:33Now I've switched to the piston again.
06:36So, then you can adjust the brightness here.
06:38A little less now, it doesn't dazzle as much, right?
06:41So, this is already a really sharp image.
06:43So, if there's anything here, soot or an effect or whatever,
06:46then that's definitely enough to definitely recognize it.
06:52That's exactly what I think.
07:00Sorry for the noise.
07:01I'm practically in the middle of the road, but there's no other way.
07:04Exactly.
07:04And you can do that in 1000 other places too.
07:06So, I still have my car here.
07:08I don't know.
07:09If I feel like looking into the exhaust, then that's fine, right?
07:13Well, that's what it looks like.
07:15It might not make the most sense, but it's meant to show.
07:20Exactly.
07:21It's meant to show how sharp or not the shot is.
07:24Here you can see the whole car.
07:26So, the camera is really cool.
07:29It does its job, right?
07:32Even if you look into the spark plug connector, the point is to see, is the quality good enough?
07:39Is it good enough to recognize anything?
07:41And that's definitely the case.
07:42It saves everything, you can download it to your computer.
07:45Uh, yeah, so I think it's cool.
07:49You can't complain.
07:50I don't know, where else can I look?
07:54Even a handlebar head, right?
07:58You can see a lot of rust at the bottom of the structure, it's a Simpson.
08:02I don't know when it was built, around 50 years old.
08:06And that's the good thing, right?
08:08There are 5 meters on it.
08:10You can then really go as far down as you can with the 5 millimeters,
08:13which is the width of the camera.
08:15You can then change it again here.
08:17Well, if you say you're looking at the walls, I think you can do that now too.
08:22Wait a minute, it's a bit blurry right now.
08:27Okay, I don't get it right now.
08:29You can definitely adjust the focus here too, because you can't really see much now.
08:34But that works.
08:34But sorry guys, I can't quite remember it right now.
08:37How?
08:37In any case, the quality is the same as that of the front camera, right?
08:42Well, I hope it helped you.
08:44We've now looked into every gap here, in the truest sense of the word.
08:48It's a nice little gimmick, it's really cool.
08:50Exactly.
