00:00Welcome to the video from the Car Magazine Tuning Blog.
00:03This time, it's all about the brand new 2026 Woling Starlight 730,
00:09which has been officially unveiled and is bringing a breath of fresh air to the midsize MPV segment.
00:15With the premiere of the new Starlight 730,
00:18the Chinese car manufacturer Woling is expanding its successful Starlight family with another model.
00:24This time in the form of a modern, electrified MP4,
00:27which not only stands out visually, but also aims to set new technical standards.
00:34The design of the Woling Starlight 730 is presented in two different front views, depending on the drive variant.
00:43While the versions with a combustion engine or plug-in hybrid are equipped with a conventional radiator grille,
00:49the all-electric model presents itself with a closed front section and clear, reduced lines.
00:53Overall, the body is around 5 meters long, around 1.9 meters wide and around 1.8 meters high,
01:01with a wheelbase of around 3 meters.
01:06The side sliding flag doors, which are being used for the first time in this segment,
01:10are particularly practical and make getting in much easier.
01:13A real advantage, especially for families and frequent users.
01:18The model is built on the manufacturer's new Tianu platform,
01:22which was developed specifically for electric vehicles.
01:26The Woling Starlight 730 is the first next-generation MPV to use this architecture
01:31and will be offered with a particularly wide range of drive concepts.
01:35In addition to a classic petrol engine, there will be a plug-in hybrid version and a fully electric model.
01:43The petrol version uses a 1.5L turbo engine with an output of 177 horsepower.
01:50The plug-in hybrid combines the same combustion engine with an electric motor,
01:54which delivers an additional 76 horsepower.
01:57The all-electric version has 137 horsepower.
02:00More precise data on the battery capacity or range of the electric versions have not yet been provided,
02:07but are likely to follow shortly.
02:10The market launch in China is planned for the last quarter of this year.
02:16Prices have not yet been officially published,
02:18but estimates suggest that the model could start in the range of around 20,000 euros,
02:23depending on the equipment and drive type.
02:24With this, Woling is staying true to its line of offering technologically advanced vehicles
02:32at a comparatively low price.
02:34An approach that has already proven successful many times on the Chinese market.
