00:00Welcome to the video from the Car Magazine Tuning Blog.
00:03Today we're talking about two new models from the Chinese manufacturer Photon,
00:08which mark their entry into the international market for large pickups,
00:12the Tunland V7 and the Tunland V9.
00:15With these two models, Photon, previously known primarily as a manufacturer of commercial vehicles,
00:21is showing that they now also want to get involved in the full-size pickup segment.
00:25This is particularly true in markets like Australia and South America.
00:30Where robust work vehicles are in high demand.
00:33The Tunland V7 is described as a functional and robust work partner that doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles.
00:40A classic, no-nonsense workhorse, the Tunland V9 goes a step further.
00:46It builds on the V7 but offers further developed suspension and more comfort,
00:50making it a more pleasant alternative, especially on the road.
00:53Both models were launched in several international markets towards the end of last year, including South America.
01:03Under the hood of both versions is a 2-liter turbodiesel engine that works in combination with a 48-volt mild hybrid system.
01:13Output is 164 horsepower and 450 newton-meters of torque.
01:18Although the full specifications for Australia have not yet been confirmed,
01:24it's safe to assume they will match the figures already mentioned.
01:29As always, you'll find the link to read the article in our magazine in the video description.
