00:12Convention Center, the Korean premium brand Genesis is presenting two impressive concept
00:17vehicles under the motto, Unfold the new era of Genesis, the XG Grand Coupe and the X Grand
00:23Cabriolet. With these models, Genesis begins a new chapter 10 years after the brand's long
00:29launch and impressively demonstrates how the brand wants to position itself as an emotionally
00:34charged luxury brand in the future. Both concept vehicles are further developments
00:40of the G90 and interpret luxury and design in different ways.
00:45The X Grand Coupe impresses with a dynamic, elegant body shape that combines sportiness
00:50and refinement. The XG Cabriolet, on the other hand, focuses on openness. The lack of a fixed
00:58roof creates an intense connection to the surroundings and a feeling of freedom.
01:04The front of both models is characterized by the brand's typical two-line design of the
01:08headlights, which extends to the center of the front and merges seamlessly into the striking
01:13crest radiator grille with the Genesis logo. The three-dimensional grille is reminiscent
01:20of artfully applied metal wires in a diamond pattern.
01:25The wide air intakes, together with the extended bonnet, emphasize the sporty character of
01:29both vehicles. The wide headlights, also in a two-line style, extend all the way to the
01:36fenders, creating a harmonious overall appearance.
01:42Both concepts feature a steeply raked windshield and a flat roofline, creating a particularly sweeping
01:48silhouette. The frameless windows disappear completely into the doors, allowing for continuous side
01:56blazing without a visible B-pillar. An aerodynamically shaped spoiler at the lower end of the body provides
02:04additional stability and underscores the focus on driving dynamics.
02:09The X Grand Coupe has a particularly cohesive and sporty appearance with a continuous roofline
02:14reminiscent of classic sports cars. On the Cabriolet, however, the beltline has been pulled further
02:21back to more clearly define the separation between the body and the fabric roof.
02:26The wheel designs of both vehicles are also eye-catching.
02:30The Cabriolet sports dynamically shaped five-star wheels with a SK all-cross section and a two-line
02:36spoke. The Grand Coupe, on the other hand, combines a classic five-twin-spoke design with additional
02:43spokes on a staggered plane. A striking and technically sophisticated solution.
02:50The low tire profile and wide track reinforce the athletic impression of both vehicles.
02:57The rear also features dual-line design elements, particularly in the taillights.
03:04A horizontal accent below the license plate and a laterally extended chrome strip framing
03:09two-wide, rectangular tailpipes give the rear a clean, modern look.
03:15A further spoiler on the tailgate reinforces the dynamic effect.
03:20Technical details such as the retractable rear-view camera system and hands-free trunk access demonstrate
03:26the high standards of functionality and innovation.
03:30The interior of the XG Coupe is inspired by the olive trees of the Mediterranean.
03:36The retro-perforated olive wood, an olive green lighting atmosphere, and specially designed
03:41floor mats with olive leaf motifs come together here.
03:45Water from Italian olive oil production was used for the leather.
03:49It is completely chrome-free and contributes to a more sustainable understanding of luxury.
03:54The quilted leather roof and the redesigned overhead console complement the high-quality interior.
04:01The XGR Cabriolet's deep red paint echoes the hue of pressed grapes.
04:08The interior is inspired by the color play of Cabern Sabinon, a tribute to the grapes from
