00:19The Tata Chiago has received an update for 2025, which brings new features and color options.
00:25Technically, the car remains unchanged and will continue to be offered with three types of powertrain, petrol, CNG and electric.
00:35Externally, the design has changed little, but Tata Motors has introduced fresh color schemes that were not yet announced at the time of release.
00:44The new visual highlights include two-tone alloy wheels, LED daytime running lights, LED headlights, front fog lights and a rear window wiper.
00:52However, there have been major changes to the interior.
00:59The top variants of all drive types now offer a 10-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system, wireless smartphone mirroring, a new digital instrument cluster, cruise control, tire pressure monitoring system, USB-C charging ports, automatic climate control, back pockets on the seats, electrically adjustable exterior mirrors on the energy variant, a remote-controlled trunk opening, EV variant only.
01:22Under the hood, the proven 1.2L petrol engine with an output of 85 horsepower and 113 newton-meters of torque remains, which is available with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed automatic transmission.
01:36The CNG version uses the same engine, but delivers 73 horsepower and 95 newton-meters of torque to the road.
01:46Here too, a 5-speed manual or automatic transmission is available.
01:51There are two range variants for the Chiago EV.
01:53The medium range is 250 kilometers, with the electric motor delivering 61 horsepower and 110 newton-meters.
02:02The long-range variant achieves a range of 315 kilometers and offers 75 horsepower and 114 newton-meters of torque.
02:11Prices for the petrol version start at around 5,000 euros and go up to 27,000 euros.
02:16The CNG version is between 6,000 euros and 8,000 euros.
02:21For the Chiago EV, prices start at around 8,000 euros and go up to 11,000 euros.
02:28With these updates, the Tata Chiago closes the gap to its competitors and now offers the most comprehensive equipment in its segment.
