00:00The Independent Commission for Infrastructure recommends the filing of criminal and administrative complaints against Senators Joel Villanueva and Gingoy Estrada, resigned ACOBICOL Rep. Zaldico, and three others.
00:12Included in the recommendation are Commission on Audit Commissioner Mario Lipana, former Caloocan 2nd District Rep. Mary Mitzi Kahayon Uy, and former Department of Public Works and Highways Undersecretary Roberto Bernardo.
00:25According to the ICI, the alleged participation of these individuals appears to constitute violations of the revised Penal Code on Bribery and Corruption, as well as graft and plunder given the magnitude of funds involved.
00:37With this filing, we remain true to our commitment to the Filipino people. No one will be spared in this fight against corruption.
00:48Those found responsible will face the consequences and held accountable under the rule of law. Justice will not be delayed. This is our promise to our countrymen.
01:03The complaints are based on the sworn affidavits and corroborating evidence of dismissed Bulacan engineers Henry Alcantara, Bryce Hernandez, and JP Mendoza.
01:12Estrada once again denies the allegations, saying he welcomes every opportunity to clear his name before the proper forum.
