00:00Hegseth responds to governor's claim.
00:03Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker is at it again, arms flailing, words slurring into empty slogans
00:09and once more choosing performative politics over actual leadership.
00:13Let's just be honest, Pritzker has had his eye on a 2028 presidential run since the moment
00:19President Donald Trump took the oath for his second term.
00:22Because if you can't lead, apparently distract.
00:25Take his latest crusade.
00:28Whining about redistricting in Texas, of all places.
00:31This is a guy whose party has spent decades drawing Illinois maps that look like Jackson Pollock paintings,
00:37surgically slicing up voting blocks to keep Democrats in power while pretending they care about representation.
00:43Then there's his claim that Chicago is safe.
00:46This was right after a Labor Day weekend that saw 58 people shot, 8 of them fatally.
00:51But sure, Governor, tell us more about how things are under control.
00:55ICE had to roll out something called Operation Midway Blitz just to catch the kinds of predators Pritzker's policies have allowed to walk free.
01:03We're talking about violent offenders, rapists, child abusers, and domestic batterers.
01:07No, he throws a tantrum.
01:09This is a convicted felon who is threatening to jail me.
01:12He said about Trump, he's unhinged.
01:15But at least Trump isn't pretending the border crisis is a Fox News conspiracy.
01:19Enter Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, who, yes, was doing push-ups when Pritzker attacked him,
01:25who responded by offering a little friendly advice,
01:28maybe you should do a few push-ups.
01:30Because while Hegseth and Trump are focused on restoring law and order,
01:34Pritzker is out here auditioning for an MSNBC segment.
01:37They're just collateral damage in the meantime.
01:40There are two kinds of leaders.
01:42Those who get in the way of the chaos and those who are the chaos.
01:452028 is still a long way off.
