00:00Taylor Swift's choreographer reveals singer was in her head after getting bad rap about her dance moves.
00:06Taylor Swift was able to shake off the negative comments about her dancing by changing up her moves.
00:12In an interview with the New York Times published Sunday, October 26th,
00:17the 35-year-old pop star's acclaimed heiress tour choreographer, Mandy Moore,
00:22opened up about Swift's dance journey.
00:24She'd gotten a bad rap for a long time about her dancing, so she was really in her head.
00:29Moore, 49, told the outlet.
00:32We shifted the focus to how movement was already manifesting in her body,
00:36the way she naturally wanted to move.
00:38And then we fine-tuned that.
00:40Okay, that looks a little weird with your shoulders, or let's straighten your knee here, Moore explained.
00:46Overall, Moore, who most recently choreographed the music video for Swift's new song,
00:51The Fate of Ophelia, said she's enjoyed working with the 14-time Grammy winner complimenting her work ethic.
00:57I really admire Taylor's tenacity.
01:00She works so hard.
01:02Whatever I was putting down, she was picking up, Moore remarked.
01:05And she's very clear about what she wants, which I love.
01:09I find I can't create unless I have some parameters.
01:12The do-whatever-you-want thing.
01:13For me, it just feels like chaos.
01:16As for Swift, she previously raved about Moore,
01:19telling Time Magazine in 2023 that the three-time Emmy Award-winning choreographer
01:24completely changed my relationship to choreography
01:27and somehow got into my brain and figured out exactly how I would think about things.
01:32The do-whatever-you-want thing.
