00:16He took the stage at Saudi Arabia's Riyadh Comedy Festival

00:19roughly one month after Kirk, 31, was shot in the neck on Wednesday, September 10th.

00:25It's almost perfect comedy timing that this happened now, right?

00:28Because had this comedy festival happened at any other time,

00:33I think America, as an idea, would have had more of a leg to stand on as a moral authority,

00:38Noah said before referencing Jimmy Kimmel's recent suspension from ABC last month.

00:43He said Kimmel's monologue was about MAGA's response to the shooting, adding,

00:47I went back to look for the joke that they said,

00:50There is no joke.

00:51You can't say there's nothing funny about it.

00:53The guy was shot while defending guns, the former Daily Show host declared.

00:57Kirk was shot dead while speaking at a Turning Point USA event at Utah Valley University,

01:02as he answered a question.

01:04After his assassination, a video resurfaced of Kirk once stating,

01:08I think it's worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year,

01:13so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect our other God-given rights.

01:17Noah said,

01:18That would be like if the captain of the Titanic was giving an impassioned speech about icebergs

01:22right before it happened.

01:24The Black Panther voice actor defended his right to joke about Kirk's murder,

01:28arguing,
