00:13The Steelers faced the Minnesota Vikings at Croke Park early Sunday,

00:20According to Irish media, Skyler Thompson, a quarterback on injured reserve,

00:24was jumped and robbed late Friday in the Temple Bar and Dame Street area,

00:27and his phone was stolen as he sustained minor injuries.

00:31Police on patrol in the early hours of Saturday morning

00:33encountered a man in need of medical attention on Dame Street

00:36and noted that no formal complaint was filed.

00:40Thompson, who is on injured reserve, suffered minor injuries but is okay and with the team,

01:07On Sunday evening, an elderly disabled man named Gregory, who uses a wheelchair,

01:12was celebrating the team's win by smoking a cigar on O'Connell Street

01:16when a woman reportedly stole his phone.

01:17Members of the public alerted nearby police officers who chased down the suspect,

01:23recovered the phone, and arrested and charged the woman.

01:26Both incidents occurred within a couple of miles of Croke Park in Temple Bar and O'Connell Street,

01:31areas long described as tourist crime hotspots, including a 2024 case, jailing Mohammed Axmed.
