00:00Let's jump around to a few other things around the league.
00:08We of course spent plenty of time this week about Salah getting chopped with the Jets.
00:13So today everybody was back at work, Jeff Ulbricht now the interim head coach.
00:18They did make a little bit of a change in the coaching staff.
00:22So Nathaniel Hackett was the offensive coordinator, although technically he still is the offensive
00:29coordinator.
00:30But the bad news for Nate is he's basically been chopped.
00:34He's not going to be calling the plays anymore.
00:37Instead it's going to be Todd Downing who's going to be calling the plays.
00:42Now we always love this guy.
00:44Here's this Ulbricht who's now been thrown into the fire as the Jet new head coach where
00:48he's got to tell everybody he's made a change, but still lather up the guy that he took all
00:54the responsibility for.
00:55So Hackett's done such a great job, but I'm going to chop him from all his responsibilities.
01:01Here's Ulbricht.
01:02I'm going to make Todd Downing the play caller for the New York Jets going forward.
01:09And this is more a byproduct of a different take on things.
01:12I'm not saying it's a better or worse take on things by any means, but just a different
01:16take on things, a fresh approach.
01:18So ultimately Todd will have the full say on the game plan and ultimately the plays
01:24that are called within the game.
01:27Saying that as well, just another testament to the human being that Nathaniel Hackett
01:33is.
01:34The fact that he's going to give us everything in his body and heart and soul, and he's going
01:39to continue to be a big part of the success we're going to have going forward from an
01:43offensive perspective.
01:44I feel so fortunate that he's staying with us.
01:49Here's a guy that's been a head coach this morning and willing to draw cards, willing
01:54to do whatever it takes.
01:55So the true heart of the servant.
01:56I feel so fortunate that he's on our staff.
02:00I can't speak enough good things about him.
02:01Oh my God.
02:02It won't end.
02:03Now listen, listen.
02:04He's going to be coaching high school football by, uh, I think Thanksgiving, Hackett.
02:13Like he's done in the NFL.
02:14He's done.
02:15You know, no one in college was going to want him either.
02:18He's not a, he's not a Matt Rule.
02:20He's not.
02:22He's coaching high school football, like next year for sure.
02:26Like, honestly, his reputation is ruined.
02:31And to hear this guy knob him like that, that was embarrassing.
02:36That was, that was amateur hour right there.
02:39Like, are you kidding?
02:40What's next?
02:41He's going to send his white flowers.
02:42He's not going to call the plays anymore.
02:45He's not going to come up with the game plan anymore, but I'm so, but I'm so glad he's
02:49going to stick around and give me everything that he's got.
02:52You want to know why he's sticking around?
02:54Because he's Aaron's good buddy and Aaron's like, yeah, you can't get rid of him.
02:58You can, you want to take the play going away.
03:00Fine.
03:01But he's my best friend and I'm sorry, you can't chop them.
03:03I'm never going to allow it.
03:05Oh my God.
03:06That was painful.
03:07Uh, from over there.
03:08Just please.
03:09You would have been better off.
03:11I would have had more respect for him.
03:12Just chop them.
03:13Scotty, chop them out and say, this guy's done.
03:17He's part of the problem.
03:18Get him out of here.
03:19I'm so grateful.
03:20He's going to hang around the building.
03:22God.
03:23Uh, here's another.
03:24I'm surprised Woody didn't do it.
03:25Honestly, to be honest.
03:26Why not get rid of both of them?
03:27They're both, uh, right.
03:28You know, tied at the hip.
03:29And I thought that they both did a bad job and Hackett just keeps getting worse by the
03:30job he gets.
03:31Hackett's, Hackett's awful.
03:32Uh, here's another good laugh for you, I guess.
03:33Uh, we know the kind of problems the Bills had on Sunday at the end of that game in Houston.
03:35Uh, Sean McDermott told us earlier in the week that it's all on him.
03:36Uh, you know, he takes all the responsibility.
03:37Here he is yesterday, uh, trying to basically tell how everybody's got to be on the same
03:38page.
03:39You know, uh, everybody in the meetings, everybody, we got to make sure that all our, we dot our
03:40eyes and we cross our fingers.
03:41Uh, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and,
03:42and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and,

07:03started six months ago I talked
07:06about it so maze going to start
07:07at six and
07:09a half now minus six and a
07:11half for the
07:13Texans on the road at
07:15Foxboro 30 7 and a half is the
07:16Foxboro 30 7 and a half is the
07:17total.
07:19Well, I mean, Houston's
07:21Well, I mean, Houston's
07:25certainly better than the represents
07:27maybe the kid does have a big day and shows us a little something this week. It is an interesting
07:32spot to start him against this team who's pretty good. You're playing Jacksonville next week,
07:37you played Miami last week, but this is the week that young Drake May will start his NFL journey.
07:43All right, all we've talked about- If he starts well at home, Mike, at Gillette,
07:47and they get behind him, because they need to get behind the kid. I mean, the kid's the
07:51top draft pick. Let's get behind him. Let's see if he unleashes a couple of nice throws,
07:56and if he runs, because he's really good at running. I mean, this guy is big, and strong,
08:01and fast. And even teammates have said he's really quick, and he's big, and he's sturdy.
08:07So he's like Josh Allen, frankly. And let's see if he busts out a couple of runs and busts a
08:13couple of throws off, and they get behind him. It could be the ideal setting for him to start
08:18strong. Let's hope the kid has a good outing. All these guys start- Look at the other three.
08:24They started slowly, and he might as well- It might very well be the same thing for him,
08:30but look at those three now. Daniels, Williams, Knicks. They're all winning and playing great.
08:37They certainly are. Let's go to Vegas now. It seems for the last two weeks that Devonta Adams
08:43is going to get traded. It's all everybody talks about. When's Devonta Adams going to get traded?
08:46Where's he going to go? Where's he going to do this? This tone changed a little bit with Antonio
08:52Pierce yesterday. Suddenly, you listen to him, and he kind of makes it seem like he's not going
08:58to be traded. Like, he's talking to him again. When he's healthy, he's going to play. Here's
09:02Pierce. He's still a Raider. He's never not been a Raider. Yeah, actually, he's playing again for
09:07the Raiders. He's still a Raider. When he's healthy and he can play, we'll play him. He's just
09:12not healthy right now, and he's getting closer, though. That's the good part. He's working every
09:14day to get that hamstrings right. He's in the right head space mentally. Like I said, we talked
09:19recently and had a good conversation. He's ready to play football. Has he been rehabbing
09:23here at the facility, Antonio? Yes. Yeah, I think they're trading him. I think so, too. I guess a
09:32little gamesmanship from him there. Now, I know that some things have changed with his preferred
09:38destinations, right? I mean, you've got to see the Jets firing Salah. I know that really, it's Rodney
09:43where this guy wants to go. I agree. What is happening? Cars hurt, so he probably doesn't
09:50want to go there anymore and have Spencer Rattler throwing him the ball. So maybe that's changed
09:56things to where it's not going to happen as soon as everybody thinks that it is. I don't believe
10:01that. I don't believe that he's not. Don't trade me now. The guy went down with an oblique, so
10:06I don't want to play there. It's three weeks. He'll be back, and he'll be running the Saints
10:10as sure as I'm sitting here. And then Pittsburgh really needs him. I mean, they have nothing.
10:16Right. I mean, they have nothing. I look at teams. Your team needs him. The Bills need him. I'm
10:22looking at teams that actually need to make this move instead of caring about what this guy wants
10:28besides his Taco Bell commercials. I don't care what he wants. He's a commodity. That's what this
10:34is. This is a business. This isn't about like, oh, we don't want to upset him, his feelings. He's a
10:40superstar, so we got to bend over for him. My ass with that theory. Like, the best GM, like,
10:47I think the guy that does the best deals in the NFL has been Roseman, right? And I think he does
10:51whatever he wants. There's no feelings involved here. This is business. So this is Saturday night
10:57in Cincinnati. Him and a few of the guys on the team are out at this restaurant. A couple of fans
11:02obviously come over. They want to take some pictures. They say hello to him. This one old
11:06lady came over, and she's like, you're going to lose. She's just giving him the business,
11:13and Lamar's just looking at her like, you better stop talking. And sure enough, he drops one of
11:17his best games of this best game of the season, beating the Bengals on Sunday. Here he is talking
11:22about it. Yeah, we were just sitting down where it was supposed to be private for us. It was me,
11:28Eddie Jackson, and we were just eating. And the guy who owned the restaurant just kept like
11:33letting people, oh yeah, this person, like, I don't even almost curse. But like, oh no,
11:39I don't know this lady, you know, but it was a black lady walked down. She was just,
11:43yeah, I'm a Louisville fan, but I'm a Cincinnati fan. She was nice. She was cool.
11:47And the other lady come in, and she, I'm going to kick your ass. I'm like,
11:53I got mad. So I'm like, you know, is she going to be the reason, like, you know,
11:57I ended up winning. I wonder how she felt after that, though. Like,
12:01she probably seen it. Like one of her grandsons or something probably showed it to her.
12:05But yeah, just be a fan next time. Just let us play. Like, let the guys do the talking.
12:08Y'all just be the fans. No, it wasn't for her.
12:16Great, isn't he? I mean, he's the best thing in the NFL, that guy right there. He really is. And
12:22I hate that he's on my rival. It makes me sick because he's the best thing going. He's the best
12:28thing in the NFL. That's why he's MVP right there. This guy is. He's got it all figured out, bro,
12:34this guy. And he's got one pick. He's going to literally he's on his way to another MVP.
12:42And he did handle it very well with the lady. She was in his face screaming,
12:46and he just sitting there like, what the hell is going on here?
12:52It's a nice job by Lamar there. A few other Raven notes. Derrick Henry leads the NFL in
12:56rushing heading into week number six. That is against Washington on Sunday in Baltimore.
13:04Jane Daniels also been very good. You sent me that thing. I mean, identical numbers
13:09with Robert Griffin when he was a rookie his year in Washington. Touchdowns, passing yards,
13:15rushing yards, rushing touchdowns, completion percentage, everything almost identical.
13:20The good thing is here. They're not going to run him into the ground and wreck his career
13:24in one year like they did to Robert Griffin. Six and a half. The commanders are getting in Baltimore
13:3151 and a half. The healthy total. I mean, my God, that total is crazy, right?
13:38Look, I don't think that Washington, I think their luck runs out here, but that number is
13:45what I'm interested in. Like, so I think the Ravens are going to win the game. I think they're
13:49on a roll now. Once they started winning, they're going to keep winning. I think they'll win the
13:53North. I think the only problem they'll have is the Steelers. I think they'll destroy everyone
13:57else. The Steelers always seem to give them problems. I'm going to that game November 17th
14:03to see the Ravens at the Steelers. I look forward to it, but I think they'll win this game. But
14:08by seven, they got to win by a tutty. I don't know the way I am not giving a guy like Daniels
14:15seven points, six and a half, seven, uh, in a big game, leaving that back door open Led Zeppelin.
14:23I mean, backdoor man right here. This guy can score. He can run. He can sling it. He can throw
14:28it. He's got a thing going with McLaren. I'm telling you what they are dangerous. I think
14:34this game is, uh, you know, right now to me, it's a field goal game. It's too many points. Uh,
14:41no one respects the commanders and they're four in one. No one respects them. They win every week.
14:48I mean, they mean business. This kid is winning and you better watch out because he'll take your
14:54dinner too. He will absolutely take your dinner if you allow it. Uh, that's I'm looking forward
15:01to it. I think you're right. The number might be a little heavy, uh, even though the Ravens are
15:04going to win that game. All right. We have a few other NFL things that we will do later on.
15:09Uh, Colts wide receiver, Michael Pittman expected to miss multiple weeks with a back injury.
15:13Not good news for them. Uh, Rasheed Rice did get the LCA, uh, LCL surgery. He's going to miss the
15:19rest of the regular season. Uh, we kind of knew that was going to happen, but they kept trying
15:22to tell you that he wasn't, uh, Justin Field has higher. Justin Fields has a higher passer rating
15:28than most of the starting quarterbacks in the NFL. I mean, the list you sent me was like this
15:32long. I mean, it was pretty much everybody on there except, uh, the really good players.
15:37That's it. He's in that company right now. People have to stop talking about this guy.
15:42Like he should be benched for a guy that's always injured. That never plays that's had a
15:46calf problem since they got him in and Wilson to me, Wilson's the backup fields is the starter.
15:53He's played. Well, he got him the lead in the game against Dallas late.
15:57What more can you ask of your quarterback? He's played good in, uh, in almost every game.
16:02They blew the game in any of the head of all the two and a half days left in it.
