00:00He's played seven games or whatever where you're like, all right, he's a serviceable tackle.
00:04I don't, I mean, I'm not putting him in the Pro Bowl yet.
00:07You know what I mean?
00:08Like, I think there's a line there where you're like, all right, he looks like a starting tackle, but it doesn't mean he's perfect.
00:13And yesterday, because he also, he wasn't great in the Tennessee game.
00:16And now, so you're following that up with back-to-back not great games.
00:19You saying he's serviceable?
00:20I think he's right.
00:20He's played eight games?
00:21Yeah.
00:22He was bad against Vegas in the opener.
00:25He was bad against Pittsburgh, which is T.J. Watt.
00:27I get it.
00:27He was bad against Tennessee, and he was bad yesterday.
00:32So that doesn't mean he can't play tackle, but that does mean he's a rookie feeling his way out.
00:36And calling him serviceable, Keith, I think is accurate, and that's a massive upgrade over last year.
00:41Oh, yeah.
00:42I think Campbell has mostly been fine, but there is a section of the fan base that wants to turn him into a pro bowler or a Hall of Famer,
00:49and I just, I don't think we've seen that.
00:50He's a wild improvement over what they got or what they had a year ago.
00:54I think so far he's been worth the fourth overall pick.
00:57I'm not saying it's a bust of a pick or anything.
00:59No, it's not a bust of a pick.
01:00Fourth overall pick is...
01:01You don't think so?
01:02That is like a pro bowl, all pro guy.
01:03Okay.
01:04But it was such a need, and they struck out on it in crazy.
01:07That's why I'd say it was probably worth it.
01:09No, and they're 6-2, so I guess in that sense, yes, it's worth it.
01:12But I think if you look back on it, and we talked about this, if Will Campbell is Nate Solder,
01:17is everybody agreeing that that's an awesome pick, or you're like, well, it's fine.
01:22I want a little bit more.
01:23Right.
01:23So it's early.
01:24He's halfway through his rookie year, but I feel like Nate Solder, who was not the fourth pick
01:28in the draft, I think he was like 17, somewhere in there.
01:31It's like, okay.
01:33I forget, he might not even have been the first tackle taken.
01:35Whereas Will Campbell was the first offensive lineman taken.
01:38And yeah, he's going to have his lumps against TJ Watt and Miles Garrett, and we'll see where
01:44he goes from here.
01:44Uh, text line, relax, Campbell was just tiring him out.
01:47He's playing chess.
01:48Rope-a-dope.
01:49Uh, there's also this, some of those sacks are on Drake May.
01:52Do you agree with that yesterday?
01:54Taking too long to get the football out?
01:55I don't know about yesterday.
01:56I would say the overall total, we had a caller bring up, he's been sacked 29 times.
01:59I think.
02:00I think.
02:00You could go through a bunch of those.
02:02I don't know about yesterday, though.
02:03No, yesterday, I feel like they were getting home pretty quick.
02:04Yeah.
02:05I don't think there was a lot of Drake May holding onto the football yesterday, but overall, that's
02:09probably a fair criticism of Drake, and he's had that criticism of himself.
