00:03the next hour is going to be totally not boring. So you have come to the right place.

00:09I'm Emily Chang. I am the host and executive producer of The Circuit and Post Human on

00:14Bloomberg Originals. Bloomberg Originals, if you're not familiar with it, is our original

00:19content studio that complements our live global daily news coverage where we are covering

00:24the biggest stories around the world every day. So in my case, you may have seen me wake

00:29surfing with Mark Zuckerberg or golfing with Steph Curry. Thank you. Somebody saw it.

00:36Or maybe just hanging out with robots. And I feel truly blessed to have the opportunity to do the

00:43work that we do. Our mission is simple, to show you business as you've never seen it,

00:49to take you beyond the headlines where business meets culture and technology and entertainment

00:55and climate and everything in between. All of it is streaming and beautifully produced.

01:02And we've got formats of all kinds. We've got documentaries, long and short. We have video

01:07podcasts. We have talk shows. We have incredible voices. We have bold stories. And we just won our

01:14first Emmys. Plural. Two Emmys. We've got multiple nominations. And I can say that as a journalist

01:22who's been doing this job for a while now, I've worked in a few places, I don't see any newsroom

01:28out there that is making content that is as expansive and cinematic and impactful. And it is where

01:37journalism to me meets a truly unique kind of storytelling. So it is my pleasure to show you

02:38I truly believe AI is the most transformational technology that I've seen in my career.

02:44How do you personally grapple with the pace of it all?

02:47It does feel like it's going very fast.

02:50The way you stay ahead is by innovating relentlessly.

02:54It has to be true all the time.

02:55We better sort of really face off to the fact that this is a rate of diffusion that's faster than anything before and it's worldwide.

03:03Nations that don't have a capacity to deal with their past, they have a very difficult time to look into the future.

03:12Any good reporter that has a moment when you hear a little click and that click is, this is a hell of a story.

03:19People need a frontier, otherwise things start to feel very zero-sum.

03:22All of a sudden, we can see and understand things at a scale that we just did not have access to before.
