00:00A week one shakeup in college football was inevitable after three top 10 matchups but
00:05not many expected this many teams to move this far. Credit LSU, Florida State and Miami for
00:12pulling upsets to initiate the shuffle. Ohio State is the new number one and the arch manning
00:20era at Texas is off to a rocky start. The Longhorns quarterback struggled against the Buckeyes.
00:27The defense under new coordinator Matt Patricia seemed to confuse Manning at times. The defending
00:33national champions are feeling confident, head coach Ryan Day said. There's a lot we can build on
00:39here, a lot we have to improve on. The team you see right now will not even be close to the team you
00:44see halfway through the season or at the end of the year but it certainly makes the corrections a lot
00:49easier to make after a win against you know a top five opponent like this. After the Buckeyes its
00:54fellow Big Ten member Penn State, the Nittany Lions and Georgia had an easy blowout wins against
01:00Nevada and Marshall respectively. The LSU Tigers are up to number three after their upset of Clemson
01:06and Miami had that big win against Notre Dame. The Canes moved up five spots to number five.
01:12Former Georgia quarterback Carson Beck was expecting to win Sunday.
01:16Nobody really knew going into tonight but now they know. So you know I tried to tell people but you know
01:23they don't tend to believe what I say but that's fine. You know actions speak louder than words.
01:29Oregon moved up one spot after a 59-13 win over Montana State and they received a first place vote to boot.
01:36After the Ducks, the three teams that lost in week one, Texas, Clemson and Notre Dame, are behind the eight ball now.
01:43Another loss on their resume could put their playoff hopes in jeopardy.
01:47Though don't mention that to Tigers head coach Dabo Swinney.
01:50I really believe this is going to be one heck of a football team when it's all said and done.
01:55I really do. I think this is going to be a really good team.
01:58Disappointed in again the outcome tonight but the focus will be to just learn and grow from it.
02:04Rounding out the top ten, South Carolina who took care of business in their opener Sunday against Virginia Tech.
02:10Meanwhile, outside the top ten, the biggest jump came from Florida State who entered the poll at number 14.
02:17The Knolls looked like a true playoff contender as they dismantled Alabama 31-17.
02:23In a true sign of the times, quarterback Tommy Castellanos has Nick Can't Save Them t-shirts for sale on his NIL merchandise website.
02:33A reference to his off-season prediction that his team would beat Alabama because former Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban was no longer there.
02:41Speaking of the Tide, they plummet from 8 to 21 in the poll and there are already odds on who will be the next head coach replacing Caelan DeBoer after one season and one game.
02:53Some of the more high-profile names include Lane Kiffin, Deion Sanders, John Gruden and Jimbo Fisher.
