00:00In today's Media Miss Minute, White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt is under fire after
00:05calling Democrats terrorists and criminals. And the Trump administration is now charging
00:10immigrants a $1,000 fee to stay in the U.S. while awaiting permanent legal status.
00:19Hello, I'm Kayleigh Carey. In today's Media Miss Minute, two stories largely ignored by
00:24partisan media outlets, starting with one ignored by the right.
00:28The Democrat Party's main constituency are made up of Hamas terrorists, illegal aliens and violent
00:35criminals. White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt is facing heavy criticism for that remark
00:40made during a Fox News interview. Critics call it dangerous rhetoric, especially in the wake of
00:45recent political assassinations and attacks against figures from both parties. Levitt was responding
00:52to a question about New York City Democratic mayoral candidate Zoran Mamdani, who refused to say
00:57whether he believes Hamas should disarm in Gaza. Now to a story being missed by the left. The
01:04Department of Homeland Security is imposing a new $1,000 fee on immigrants approved for humanitarian
01:10parole. The department says it's aimed at, quote, instituting accountability and preventing fraud in
01:16a system that they claim was rampantly abused under the Biden administration. The fee will be collected
01:22only after a parole request is approved, not when filed. For more stories missed or minimized
