00:00All right, London in the locker room, Cam Scoutaboo.
00:04We've got your first one on this past Sunday.
00:08How did it feel to get in the end zone for the first time?
00:10It felt great.
00:11I've done it a lot, so being able to do it at the highest level is something I've always wanted to do, so it's been awesome.
00:16When you say you're learning a lot, do you feel like the game, in terms of the professional NFL game, has kind of slowed down for you?
00:22Yeah, 100%.
00:23You know, I think about midway through the third quarter is when it kind of hit me, like, all right, it's just football.
00:28You know, and it kind of slowed down for me, so now the time is going to go on, and I'm going to continue to play.
00:34It's just going to get slower and slower and hopefully become easier.
00:37Talk us through that big run, man, that 24-yard run that kind of set up that two-yard touchdown for you,
00:42just kind of blocking scheme, what you saw, and then you bounced off a couple of tackles there,
00:48so just kind of break it down from the mind of Cam.
00:51Yeah, I mean, we ran the same play earlier in the game with Russ, and, you know, he got about one yard and didn't hand it off,
00:58so with Jackson coming in, you know, you think Jackson's coming in to run the ball, and then he hands it off,
01:04and there's nobody in the hole.
01:05I mean, the line did a great job.
01:07I literally took the ball, and there was nobody in front of me, and I knew I had to make two people miss.
01:11There was a guy come from my right and my left.
01:13I attacked one of them, and the other one was there, you know, and I tried to make a miss,
01:17but I got as close as I could without scoring, I guess, so I wish I could have got in on that one.
01:23Talk to me about, like, that offensive explosion that you guys had there down in Dallas.
01:28They say in the NFL or just in pro sports in general, you get better from week one to week two.
01:34That's when you make the most improvement.
01:35We got to see that from the offensive line.
01:37We got to see that from the vertical passing game.
01:39So, I guess, just going into this Chiefs game, like, how much did you guys put on tape
01:45to where you feel like you could build off of to maybe get a win on primetime football?
01:49Yeah, I mean, we just got to keep doing us.
01:51We got to get better every week.
01:53We got better from week one to week two, and it still wasn't good enough.
01:55So, you know, we just got to get better this week and, you know, go out there
01:59and put our best foot forward and hope for the best.
02:01Talk about the protection getting better and then the vertical passing game getting better.
02:05Do you feel like the run game, you know, you guys put one explosive play on tape.
02:10Do you feel like the run game is next up?
02:12Yeah, absolutely.
02:13I mean, I'm back there now, and, you know, we got Tracy and Motor over there.
02:17I mean, we're going to be an explosive offense through the whole thing.
02:21I think we just need to find our footing, and, you know, the O-line's now focusing on the run a little bit more,
02:26and we're really starting to understand who we are.
02:29So, we'll get there surely, but it might take some time, but we're getting there.
02:34You got the home opener on Sunday night.
02:37You kind of felt it a little bit in that last preseason game.
02:40How excited are you to get that first official game at MetLife Stadium in front of the fans?
02:45Yeah, it's going to be awesome.
02:46I know hopefully we, you know, book it out and everyone's there to support.
02:50But, you know, it's nothing like it when you get to play at home for the first time, you know,
02:56with your new football team and your new coaches and your new staff and all these new guys
02:59and understanding what this is all about.
03:01So, playing in New York, the biggest, you know, the biggest football market in the world, you know.
03:07So, I'm going to go out there and play my hardest and hope for the best.
03:11Lastly, when I spoke to you on the red-blue carpet at Michael Rubin's party at the Super Bowl,
03:15I kind of asked you who you wanted to draft you.
03:17You were like, you just wanted to play anywhere.
03:20Like, how great has it been, you know, being a New York football giant so far?
03:24It's been awesome.
03:25I mean, everybody in this building has been great to me.
03:28You know, I enjoy all the company of everybody.
03:31And continuing to, you know, build with these people and grow with these people is only going to make us stronger.
03:36So, you know, I try to look at the good in everybody and make sure that, you know,
03:40I'm not making any bad friends here or, you know, any bad reps around myself.
03:44But everything's been awesome.
03:46Teammates, players, coaches, everyone's been great.
03:49All right, man.
03:50Good luck on Sunday.
03:50Appreciate it.
