00:00Something that's come up before, that Cuomo never visited a mosque when he was governor.
00:04At least that's an assertion.
00:06I don't think in any way the assemblyman is representative of the Muslim community,
00:11which is a vital community in New York City.
00:14And I am very fond of and I've been working with.
00:19I think he's playing his own politics.
00:22Many of his positions don't even follow the Muslim faith.
00:26So I see them as two totally separate things.
00:28Mr. Mamdani, do you want to respond?
00:31You know, it took Andrew Cuomo being beaten by a Muslim candidate in the Democratic primary
00:35for him to set foot in a mosque.
00:37He had more than 10 years and he couldn't name a single mosque at the last debate we had that he visited.
00:42And what Muslims want in this city is what every community wants and deserves.
00:46They want equality and they want respect.
00:48And it took me to get you to even see those Muslims as part of this city.
00:52And that, frankly, is something that is shameful and is why so many New Yorkers have lost faith in this politics.
00:58Yeah, Cuomo seemed restrained from that kind of tough rhetoric, whereas Mamdani just like, he's like, smile, smile, smile, and then takes out the nunchucks.
01:05And looking directly in the camera.
01:07No, there were so many moments where, there was a moment, in fact, where Cuomo was attacking Mamdani.
01:12And this is an important line of attack for him, going after him, basically saying, some people say he's an anti-Semite.
01:18And I wanted Cuomo in that moment to really be brazen and double down and say, yeah, I think he's an anti-Semite.
01:24And talk about his wife basically posted something sympathetic to a Palestinian terrorist.
01:29More information on the people
01:42of tendency, okay, and I didn't call for themselves no sign, man.
01:45So I wanted to tell you that if he had aFit force coming down to the沒有 existence, that
01:48perhaps his biography is or no danger to himself, just you know what?
01:52And there was the sort of role he was not.
01:54That I could have a discount.
