00:00Well I'm here at Kenton at the synagogue which was subject to an awful attack at the weekend
00:04hearing firsthand from the community the impact that this has had on them and the deep sense of
00:11anxiety that they feel and this very issue came up. We have to deal with malign state actors
00:18that will require legislation and we're going to bring that legislation forward. It's really
00:24important that we do that. Very important in this particular context because I'm increasingly
00:30concerned that a number of countries are using proxies for attacks in this country. It's very
00:39very important and that the counter-terrorism police and the police are working with CST
00:44together on this but on both fronts we need to move forward. Of course we also need to put in
00:50place
00:51the necessary security, change the law in relation to protests, root out the antisemitism that we
00:57found in our schools and our colleges and even the health service and take all that forward as a
01:03package but on these two fronts we will bring forward legislation and we are making sure the
01:08police CST are working very closely because this use of proxies in this country is a growing concern
01:14and a real concern.
