00:04figures, including The Post's own columnist, Carol Markowitz, as well as far-right influencer

00:09Laura Loomer. Nicholas Wray was hit with 12 separate charges for problematic posts that

00:14he made on X, where he threatened to hang Loomer from the Capitol and Smithsonian Museum in

00:19Washington, D.C. The unhinged threats also called her a Mossad agent. Wray claimed that Newsweek

00:26editor Josh Hammer, quote, conspired with foreign governments about killing Charlie, a reference

00:31there to Charlie Kirk. Loomer told The Post, quote, this is the result of radicalization

00:35from conspiracy theories online. And while we're on the topic of political violence, a professor

00:40at Howard University, Dr. Stacey Patton urged left-leaning, quote, white allies to be more

00:45like John Brown. Who is John Brown, you ask? He was an infamous Civil War era abolitionist

00:51who was hanged for murder. Brown organized the Pottawatomie Massacre in 1856, where five

00:56Kansas settlers were executed. He also led a raid on a federal armory in Virginia in 1859.

01:02Now, he hoped to seize weapons, incite a slave rebellion, and end slavery. Four people died

01:07in that raid. Brown was eventually captured, tried for murder and treason, and then hanged.

01:11Now, Patton said of the white John Brown, quote, he saw an empire built on blood and decided

01:17to make it stop.
