00:05What was it like to go into another season with this cast of women?
00:09Oh, I wasn't expecting that question.
00:12It was great.
00:14I mean, it's becoming more and more natural, becoming more and more just kind of life.
00:21So just bracing myself for some and ready to receive others.
00:27First episode kicks off with you and Angie taking her RV to pick everyone up for this cast trip.
00:34Now, you said you don't love RV living as an adult with eight other women where you can hear all their thoughts.
00:39With eight other adults, all squished in together, and like you can hear each other's thoughts.
00:46You know, can you imagine?

00:51Whose thoughts would you be most afraid of hearing and why?
00:54Um, I would probably be afraid of hearing Lisa's thoughts, because they'd probably be a little scantless.

01:05I think she has a lot of, she thinks more than what she says, and it'd probably be interesting.
01:10I thought it was so funny, because Whitney decided to prank everyone with that fake FBI raid, and they turned out to be male strippers.
01:16You did not seem too thrilled about that in the moment.

01:23I mean, where was the muscles?

01:40And they're like, they want Whitney.
01:41And I was like, okay, this is fake.
01:43And then I got it.
01:44Well, you signed on to co-host this trip with Angie.
01:47What were you and everyone else sort of expecting, and what would you have done differently when it came to planning the trip?
01:53I would have actually picked everyone up in the RV, and then drove them to a private plane.
01:59And then flew them to a private destination.
02:02Probably would have been ideal for me.
02:04Not actually drive the entire trip on the RV.
02:07It was not what I was, but it happened, and it was beautiful.
02:11At the picnic table, everyone was really going in on Lisa for not being there.
02:16What do you think was the real reason she skipped the trip?
02:18I don't know.
02:20I can only speculate.
02:22I don't know what her real reasoning was.
02:25I didn't think it was fair for us, but I just accepted because that's what happened.
02:32And after, I mean, after a minute, I just gave it no mind and just kept life moving.
02:37Right.
02:38She wasn't there, but it was kind of her loss.
02:40You and Angie, I know you guys have been very close, you know, over the last year especially, and you were very close at this time.
02:46What did you think about her comparing Lisa to Jen Shaw in that moment?
02:51One might say it's similar to what Jen Shaw did.
02:55What the f*** are you stealing from your mouth, Angie Kay?
02:59Wait, that was a bad analogy.
03:02That wasn't right.
03:03For me, that's that you don't compare no one to Jen Shaw.
03:07Like, that's not okay.
03:08I feel like Angie sometimes can be reckless.
03:14I can too.
03:15I mean, but that was a little much.
03:18I just feel like Lisa runs a real business, and Jen did not.
03:23And I just think to compare the two is just a little outlandish and a little much.

03:27So, Angie just being Angie.
03:30You and Brittany kind of got off on the wrong foot last season, and judging by your reaction to her announcement, aka relationship status update, in this first episode, it seems like you still may not be her biggest fan.
03:42Jared and I got engaged.
03:46What?
03:52Yes!
03:53What are your current thoughts on Brittany?
03:57Do I have to say it?
03:59You know, I just wish we were cartoons.
04:02And you know how cartoons, like, body slam people and, like, swing them around?
04:06Okay.
04:06That's my real intimate thought, that I wish I could body slam her, and, no, I'm kidding, or poof her and be gone, or, but, no, I just, I'm just my authentic self, and I need that to be coming back, that energy to come back to me.
04:25I need, I don't need fake.
04:27I need a real, genuine person trying to, interestingly, wanting to know who I am, and I just never got that from her, and so, that's my relationship.
04:38Right.
04:38Well, some people just don't mesh, so.
04:40That's right.
04:41Sometimes it's okay.
04:42It is, and it has to be with me, because I don't mesh with, I mean, I'm not for everyone, and everyone's not for me, and that's okay.
04:48Speaking of friendships, you, you and Angie got really close last year, as I said before, but in the trailer for season six, we see that you guys might hit a little bump in the road.
04:55You're supposed to be my sister.
04:57I am your sister.
04:57You know you're not.
04:58Find another one, okay?
04:59What can you say about that, and where do you currently stand with Angie?
05:05As you will see, she does things, a couple things to agitate me on this journey, and I love Angie, and I feel like we are close, and we are getting closer, and so when you really authentically get close to someone, you have risks.
05:25You have fights, you have disagreements, and we, that's kind of what you'll see in this season.
05:33It's very, like, sisterly.
05:34Yeah.
05:35Like, you can fight one minute, and then your best friend's the next, and then it just goes back and forth, right?
05:40Yeah, and you, because you're open, you know, and you're vulnerable, and they can do things that hurt your feelings, you know?
05:47Like, I'm used to, like, being guarded, and if I don't like you, you can't hurt me.
05:52If I don't know you, you can't hurt me, but when I let my walls down and let her in, then you can get to me, and I'm like, no, this is what I didn't want, but that's kind of weird.
06:02But I think Angie is amazing.
06:04I love her.
06:05I will always love her, and I think she's a great addition to the show.
06:10Yeah, for sure.
06:11I love this friendship that you guys have, too.

06:28Do you think any of your single co-stars would be a good match for him?
06:32No.
06:34No.

06:36I just don't see it.
06:38I don't feel it, and I don't know.
06:43I mean, he really checked out, well, maybe I shouldn't say that, but he was checking out Bronwyn, but she's married, so that couldn't happen.
06:52But I didn't see him checking out anyone else, so I was, like, sizing him.
06:56I'm like, who's he looking at?

06:59Heather, Brittany?
07:00Then Heather got along good, but I don't see him as a match.
07:04Okay.
07:04Yeah, Brittany, of course, you know, Brittany was laughing like a dog.
07:08I was like, damn it!
07:09But that took a turn for the worse.
07:11It's amazing.

07:13And what I love about it is that they have their episode, below-deck will have their episode, and then we have ours, and so you get to see both sides.
07:22What they say about us is going to be interesting to me.
07:25Yeah.
07:25I feel like I have the most manners.
07:28I hope they say that.
07:29I do want to ask about your son, Robert Jr. How is he doing?
07:33Robert is doing the best he can do.
07:36Like, it's his journey.
07:39I can't make his mind up for him.
07:41I can't walk him through it.
07:43He has to do it himself, and that's why I say he's doing the best he can.
07:48And he's trying, and that's all I can ask for him.
07:51So, I mean, it is what it is.
07:53It's still, you know, tears, but it's, I feel like it gets worse before it gets better.
08:01And it's his journey, and I think he's doing excellent for his journey.
08:08He just, you know, just hurdles that he has to still climb.
08:13And just making up your mind, just having a made-up mind, I feel like that is the whole sole purpose.
08:21Like, if your mind is made-up, there's nothing you can't do, you know, and I feel like if he, his mind's not made-up, and he still enjoys it, if he's still enjoying it, and he's still thinking it's okay, then there's no, you know, there's no growth.
08:36But he's doing the best as he can.
08:39And he said, Mom, my mind's made-up, and I'm like, well, it doesn't look like it, you know.
08:43It's like, I have to see it, too, and I just hear it.
08:46So, we're kind of in that phase, but he's doing good.
08:49I can't complain.
08:50Well, I think it's just so inspirational that you guys shared that story, that conversation last season.
08:56You know, the regular 30-milligram oxys?
08:59Mm-hmm.
09:00I noticed, like, this was like a turning point for me.
09:06It was like, I was taking 10 at once, and I couldn't even feel it.
09:10And I mean, what has that support from your peers, from the fandom, from really the whole world meant to you and Robert?
09:19People responded in such a major, loving, supportive way that I can't even describe.
09:29I mean, I hope they feel our thankfulness.
09:32I hope they feel that we did it for someone.
09:35Maybe help, if I told my son, if we help one person, then we did our part, you know.
09:41And it's all the Lord's work, at the end of the day.
09:45And if you want to do it, if it feels embarrassing, but you feel like it'll help someone, then you do it.
09:51And that's what we did.
09:52And we both decided on it.
09:54And we really didn't care the outcome.
09:56We just did it because we knew we were in that moment, and it happened.
10:00And for me, it'll be, like, one of the most sincere, beautiful, like, heartbreaking scenes I've ever done in my life.
10:12So, and it was real.
10:13We came from a real place.
10:15And we didn't even expect to do all that, but we did.
