00:12The 83-year-old is one of five candidates from which voters will choose on Saturday.
00:18Analysts say voter turnout is likely to be low this year,
00:21as many Ivoirians have grown disillusioned with elections that often deepen existing societal conflicts.
00:27Today, Ivory Coast remains an economic powerhouse in West Africa,
00:30but it has growing inequality and a poverty rate of 37.5%,
00:34and many say the economic development has not benefited them.
00:39The country has been largely spared from the political unrest and extremist violence
