00:40Speaking of careful, all of us here at the Willie and Dibby family, when we woke up to this, we were immediately reminded of something that Steve Kerr said to us yesterday.

01:03And Steve turtled up like a ninja and was like, uh, so the league sent us some notes about the whole gambling thing?
01:14And I immediately was like, oh, gosh, I wonder if this is either, A, dipping their toe in the water of something that they should not have said publicly.
01:22But then when I woke up today, I immediately thought of it and I went, oh, I bet in that moment Steve knew something that the rest of us did not know, which was that the other shoe was about to drop.
01:34Right, and the other shoe has already dropped and we knew about this part of it from Rozier from a couple of years ago and the fact that it got percolated back up, it's a percolation sensation, Mark, is what it is.
01:46But it's because of the assistant coach who is tied to both indictments.
01:51And so today the big news is the Chauncey Billups mob ties poker scam and they took more than $7 million from seven different people.
02:00I'm sorry, six different people.
02:02And I read through all of it.
02:04One of the John Does, John Doe number seven was a guy who had the card shuffling cheat machine and they basically, and by they I mean the Italian mob families, they basically told him, you're going to give us that machine or else.
02:18And so he's like, I don't want to give it to you.
02:21And they said, I mean, which one of your legs don't you like the most?
02:24And so.
02:25How would you answer that question?
02:26I would have given it to my left for sure.

04:53But that's just three examples of the larger, massive sort of conglomerate that has been built here, which is all of us.

05:07How often do you and I start a football conversation, and within seven minutes, I mean, I'm listening to Stiney and Goo today,

05:45I will watch the Warriors and Nuggets tonight, and I will be at the edge of my seat, and I will not have one dollar on the line.
05:52But that is increasingly rare, I think, both for fans and just for how many things we feel that way about.

06:03All I can do is look at the sports fans I've raised.

06:07And I'm telling you, dude, like, it's hard for me to turn the Niner game off because I have to turn the Red Zone channel off to get the Niner game on,
06:18and it ticks them off because they're more into their fantasy team than they are the Niner game.

06:30and as we get deeper into the night, every NBA game will be on.

06:34And, you know, if it were a different time of year or for the weekend, you'd have every NFL game on,
06:38and I remember being here last year for our March Madness special, and every – it was before the games were on because I was gone.

06:52Allegedly, and I'd have to listen back to the tape to remember it, but I recall cussing a couple of times.

07:10all the stuff is – it's not centered around gambling, but all of us become fans of so much because of gambling,

07:20And so when you think about the news today, which is kind of a weird one because if Chauncey Billups was not Chauncey Billups,
07:27we never would have heard about this.
07:29If it was like, you know, Joe Schmoe who was involved in this poker thing, it never would have made news,
07:36but the fact that it's an NBA coach who is a part of this thing, which goes back to 2019,
07:41as I look at the indictment right now, it's not a new thing.
07:45It's not like it happened on Tuesday.
07:48This goes back six years, and yet the government decided today on night three of the NBA season,
07:55oh, all of a sudden now we have all the things that we need for this indictment?
07:59No, this whole thing was so politically charged.
08:02The timing of it is not an accident.
08:04And so, yeah, it's sports gambling, and for most people it'll be a one-day blip,
08:09and you're going to be back betting on player props and the rest.

09:19But, literally, if it's not a Niner game, and it's not a Warrior game, and it's not a Giants game, then everything else I'm watching probably has something to do with some sort of direct or indirect entry point to some sort of gaming.
09:39And, therefore, what is the percentage of sports watching that is Niners, Giants, and Warriors?

10:39And outside of that, a great example for me is the PGA Tour.
10:43For the previous seven years, I was in a PGA Tour fantasy league.

10:53I don't watch the PGA Tour anymore because I'm not in the PGA Tour.

11:07And the other one is horse racing.
11:09Well, that's the only reason it even exists.

11:12We got the Breeders' Cup, which is coming up a week from tomorrow and Saturday,
11:17and I'm going to be locked in because I'm really into it,
