00:00Es ist Rusty.
00:02Okay, cool, wir starten.
00:05All right.
00:06Hello, everybody.
00:07Simon here with yet another roadmap update
00:10for Assassin's Creed Shadows.
00:12Now that most of you have been able
00:14to enjoy some quality time untangling
00:16the grasp of the Senzuku Ipa
00:18on the island of Awaji,
00:19and that all of you have been able
00:21to take Naoi's new bo staff for a whirl,
00:23we've been receiving some questions.
00:25Are you done with AC Shadows?
00:27Is that it?
00:29No, no, we're not.
00:31Far from it, in fact.
00:32We still have a bunch of goodies coming your way.
00:34So today we're going to take a look at everything
00:36you can expect until the holidays this year.
00:39Starting on October 28th,
00:41we're adding a new toggle option called Advanced Parkour.
00:45This new option removes all parkour guardrails,
00:47which means you can do side ejects and back ejects
00:50from any heights,
00:52allowing you to risk life and limb
00:54for death-defying parkour runs.
00:56The Advanced Parkour option also brings refinement
00:58control for side ejects.
01:00First, performing a side eject with parkour up
01:03will allow you to either gain height,
01:05which remains unchanged since our first parkour date,
01:08but if it cannot find a decent landing spot,
01:10it will launch you sideways horizontally
01:12as far as possible without any height restriction.
01:16But here's the tweak.
01:17Performing a side eject with parkour down
01:19will send you downward at a sharp angle,
01:21generally much closer to your starting point,
01:23and you will never gain any height.
01:26It's a subtle change,
01:27but one that brings more freedom of expression,
01:29which I'm sure parkour aficionados around the world
01:32are going to appreciate.
01:33Now, for regular parkour,
01:34meaning this will work whether or not you have
01:36the Advanced Parkour option turned on,
01:38we are extending the context in which the vertical ledge grab
01:41is going to work to include non-standing objects.
01:44That means beams, lanterns, little poles,
01:47things of that nature.
01:48Another small but impactful parkour addition.
01:51From those same non-standing objects,
01:52we are introducing a new Manual Jump option,
01:55which allows you to do some creative shortcuts
01:57while running along rooftops,
01:59another way to refine parkour further.
02:01Now, careful, this is not a full manual jump.
02:04It only works from non-standing objects.
02:07And finally, we are reintroducing a much-requested feature
02:10called the Directional Catch Ledge mechanic.
02:13To catch a ledge,
02:14simply hold the left stick towards the nearest ledge
02:16and tap the Parkour Up button to catch that ledge
02:19and stop your character from falling.
02:21This works from any height and it is particularly useful
02:24when combined with advanced parkour
02:26or over-eager grappling hooks with.
02:29October 28th is also when you can expect
02:31a new Animus-themed activity called Corrupted Castle.
02:35Any previously completed castle may get corrupted
02:38and filled with Animus anomalies,
02:41including Corrupted Samurai Daishos
02:43and their corresponding reward chests.
02:46Up to five corrupted castles will appear on the map each season,
02:50allowing you plenty of opportunities to reengage those castles
02:53at higher levels of play for even greater rewards.
02:56Now, what about free content drops?
02:58Well, the next one is coming your way on November 25th,
03:01and it's called A Puzzle Man.
03:03This quest has a much more humorous, silly tone,
03:06much more akin to something like AC Odyssey,
03:08in which we are digging up old foes from Naoe's past
03:11who are now looking for a bit of redemption.
03:13Naoe and Yasuke will have to combine their efforts and patience
03:17to teach those two nitwits how to become Kakoshibaiki,
03:20which also allows our two protagonists
03:22to learn new skills from each other.
03:24Naoe will learn how to perform her own spectacular version
03:27of Yasuke's War Kick ability,
03:29and Yasuke will learn how to stealthily dispatch enemies
03:32in a non-lethal way.
03:34And you might finally be able to settle the debate,
03:37as to who would win in a straight-up duel
03:40between our two protagonists.
03:42A duel, huh?
03:43One harmless match.
03:45Duel! Duel! Duel! Duel!
03:48And as the name implies, a puzzlement also introduced
03:51a brand-new and quite laborious environmental puzzle
03:54that may hold the answers to a bunch of questions
03:57that you, the community, have been asking us for a while.
04:00You must be a little curious about what is behind the door.
04:03A little.
04:04But wait, there is more.
04:06We are doubling down on the free story drops
04:08because our next special collaboration is also dropping on November 25th.
04:13Can't say too much for now, because we don't want to spoil the surprise,
04:15but let's just say that it's big.
04:18Okay, let's recap things.
04:22New Game+, Progression of Great, and Claws of Awadji expansions are now live.
04:27We've got Parkour Update 2 and Corrupted Castle activity coming on October 28th.
04:31We've got no less than two new free story drops coming on November 25th.
04:36One of them is a special collaboration.
04:38Mm-hmm.
04:39And you can also expect a whole bunch of freebies around the holiday season.
04:45Come on, guys. I'm trying to wrap up here.
04:47What you got there, anyway?
04:49What, this?
04:50It's Assassin's Creed Shadows on the Nintendo Switch 2.
04:53Wait, what? Really?
04:55Yeah, it's coming out on December 2nd, just in time for the holidays.
04:59No way!
05:00And it has all the recent updates and free content drops and everything.
05:04Except the Claws of Awadji expansion, which will come later in the new year.
05:08There's no way this works with cross-progression to Ubisoft Connect,
05:11so I can pick up where I left off, right?
05:13Yes, it will!
05:15Cool!
05:17May I?
05:18No, get your own, dude.
05:20May I?
05:21Come on, I'll paint your house.
05:24I'll walk your dog.
05:25I'm a cat person.
05:26I'll do your homework.
05:28I have two master degrees.
05:29In the middle.
05:30I'll do your homework.
05:32And then we're up to the new show.
05:33I'll do it again.
05:35Let's see.
05:37Thank you.
05:38Let's see.
