00:00My name's James, James the Cat. I've had fame, money and all that. Now I'm here, growing
00:24fat. Chasing birds and butterflies, James the Cat. It was an odd sort of day at the
00:48corner house. I think it's going to rain, said Mrs. Lavender. Me shell always creaks before
00:56it rains. Rubbish, Mrs. Lavender, said James. You're forever imagining things. Fresh air,
01:05that's what we need. Well, I'm going indoors. I'm not getting me best hat wet.
01:10Mrs. Lavender was right. There was indeed a thunderstorm brewing. One by one, the animals
01:22took shelter in the house. All except James and Citron. Ah, mon bras, this is my favourite
01:33weather. The wetter, the better. Nonsense, Citron. There's not a spot of rain, it's just rather
01:39fresh. The sort of day I love. The truth was that James was frightened of thunderstorms.
01:51Ah! It was raining cats and dogs. Only Citron was happy in the storm. The others waited in
02:02the house for it to pass. Come on out, everyone. The storm's over. Where is James? Has anyone seen James?
02:20James, where are you? James had not been seen for some time and the friends became worried that he was lost.
02:30Mrs. Lavender was beside herself. Oh, I'm convinced he's been struck by lightning. It's all my fault. I should have made him come inside with me.
02:42Ah, Marc Petit. I'm sure he is safe. Let me kiss away your tears.
02:50Hmm. Slimy little frog. Can't trust a thing he tells you.
02:56Dennis noticed something rather strange. One of the bouncer bees from 104's beehive was buzzing around the cellar door.
03:06You'll get a terrible headache doing that. Listen, sunshine. My pots of honey are in there with your grady cat.
03:18Well, there's an easy way into the cellar. Simple really, when you know how. Spoil sport.
03:25There before them was a pile of empty honey jars and one very fat cat.
03:34The storm's over, James. It's safe to come out now.
03:37I... I wasn't hiding from any storm. I was simply counting the honey jars to make sure they were all safe.
03:47I'm not afraid of a little thunder and lightning.
03:58However, Dennis decided to play a little trick on James.
04:05Thunder!
04:09Dropped in on my music practice? I've called this piece Cut in a Thunderstorm.
