00:47And the, you know, there's all these people bringing brilliant, brilliant talents
00:52and so much hard work around your idea.
00:56So it really is this enormous team.
00:59That's why movie credits are so long.
01:01You know what I mean?
01:02Like, it's so, it's hundreds of people.
01:05It's hundreds of people making it possible, honestly.
01:09And your character, she's not the typical woman that we see in the movies,
01:13especially in the 50s.
01:14When the female character, she's mostly the boss for women.
01:20I mean, what do you like most about her?
01:24Well, exactly that.
01:25She sort of defies clichés for women in the 50s.
01:28You know, she's not the 50s housewife.
01:30She's not really sort of the femme fatale or the nightclub singer.
01:34You know, she lives in those worlds, but she's educated.
01:39She has a law degree.
01:40She's a woman of purpose.
01:43You know, she has a strong sort of sense of integrity.
01:45She's fighting against racial discrimination in housing, in her community.
01:50And, but she also has this deep inner life of, you know, this emotional journey that she goes on.
01:56And she sees Lionel.
01:58I think that there's something about her that, you know, she's able to cut through, you know,
02:04society's usual kind of labels and alienating kind of things that, you know, with the Tourette syndrome,
02:11I think she's experienced that herself, you know, in terms of racial discrimination in a different way as a barrier for some people.
02:18And so I think I like the fact that she's able to really see him for who he is and their dynamic.
