Long-range Tu-22M3 bombers conducted a five-hour flight over neutral waters, accompanied by Su-35 and Su-27 fighters; the Ministry of Defense released footage of the mission.

The Russian Aerospace Forces carried out a planned flight of long-range Tu-22M3 bombers over the neutral waters of the Baltic Sea, according to a statement released Thursday (23) by the Russian Ministry of Defense, which also published a video showing the operation.

The footage shows the bombers escorted by Su-35S and Su-27 fighters during the more than five-hour flight. In specific segments of the route, Russian aircraft were accompanied by foreign fighters, indicating close monitoring by NATO forces.
