00:04to the Chinese region of Taiwan. The spokesperson for the State of Consul's Taiwan Affairs Office,

00:11Xu Fengliang, reiterated that the Taiwan issue is an internal matter and that, as such,

00:17it will not tolerate any external interference. The Chinese representative criticized the U.S.

00:23government for treating the Chinese region as a pawn for its political and economic interests.

00:28He also declared that the regional government of Taiwan has wasted funds intended to improve the living conditions of its citizens.
