00:00Here's John Schneider, the baseball manager of the Toronto Blue Jays, talking about the big win.
00:05What does it feel like going to the World Series for the first time in 32 years?
00:10Pretty cool. Pretty humble to be part of it, you know what I mean?
00:16I've said it before, besides my wife and kids, this is what I pour my life into.
00:21So to be leading the team that's going back to the World Series for the first time in 32 years
00:26kind of hits me a little bit, and I couldn't be happier for every single guy on the team
00:33and in the clubhouse, not just the players, but the staff too.
00:35So we're going to enjoy tonight big time, you know, and realize how hard it is to get here
00:41and then get back to work and get ready for the Dodgers.
00:46Go, moving on to the World Series.
00:48And by the way, asking the manager how's it feel after 32 years to get to the World Series,
00:51he wasn't in Toronto for 32 years with that struggle, but we all get the point.
00:55The fans, yes, they are loving this.
00:57They can celebrate this, and you have a couple days off to decompress before Friday night's
01:01game number one against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
01:04But just to win that way, it almost feels like you're in the big show now,
01:08and what a performance it was to get there, and all the stress that you had over that
01:12seven-game series was incredible, man.
01:13It just was.
01:15Yeah, and I thought it was, you know, Schneider made a couple of interesting moves there.
01:20He obviously didn't trust his bullpen, Donnie, because you're bringing in Gaussman in relief,
01:26and then you bring in Chris Bassett in the eighth inning as well.
01:31So you had to bring in two starters in those most crucial innings there late,
01:36because you didn't trust what you have in the bullpen.
01:39That's going to be something to keep an eye on moving forward in this World Series against the Dodgers,
01:45because that bullpen better figure it out in a big way against that lineup.
01:49So...
