10:04He said he woke up the next morning assuming all was okay.
10:10He saw the missing child alerts for Tristan, reached out to Aiden because he knew that he had
10:15left his house with her the night before. And Aiden said he walked her home and denied
10:20knowing anything was wrong. Because her friend had introduced Aiden Fucci's name, he became another suspect.
10:32Tristan Bailey, just 13 years old. Her parents reported her missing.
10:40Hours go by. Everything is just saturated with people looking for this little girl.

11:12We're trying to figure out where Tristan's at.
11:15He admitted that he had been at his friend's house the night before, seen Tristan.
11:20Yeah, so we were at your house and then I stayed there until probably like 1.50 a.m.
11:26And then I was really late to be home, so I just had to leave.
11:29Or else my mom would like seriously just kill me.
11:34Aiden Fucci said, what happened that night?
11:37They were walking back and they parted ways.
11:41Tristan going to her home, he going back to his.
11:44He should have been home between 1.30, 1.45 at the worst.
11:50His mom actually interjected and volunteered that, you know, you got home after three in the morning.
11:57He knew she had seen her surveillance cameras.

12:05I was a local news anchor and investigative reporter for 14 years in this area.
12:11This is a really quiet residential neighborhood.
12:16Lots of homes.
12:16They're close together.
12:19A typical person would be able to walk this relatively short distance in 20, 25 minutes.
12:25He was gone for about two hours.
12:28And that was really suspicious.
12:34Deputies started questioning him, why the delay.
12:37He made some comments about how he was just walking around.
12:41His timeline wasn't making any sense.
12:42And so we asked Aiden where he and Tristan went to try to retrace the steps.
12:46Deputies asked him to point out where he broke off with Tristan and she went home.
12:51And as he's telling that story, he suddenly volunteers.
12:54Well, she didn't actually turn on her street.
12:59We kept walking.
13:02He indicates that there was an intersection that they stopped near.
13:06He said he pushed her down where she had hit her head.
13:20And he just walked away because he was so mad that she had touched him in that manner.
13:29Deputies look around at that intersection in the area where he says she fell down,
13:34hit her head, and was hurt.
13:36There's no blood.
13:37It just doesn't make any sense.
13:40Things are not adding up.
13:48We were hanging on to both the friend and Aiden because we weren't quite sure what their involvement
13:52was yet.
13:54In Florida, we can detain a suspect until law enforcement can quell their suspicions.
14:00So we put them both in the back of the police car.
14:03They still have access to their phones.
14:04They're detained.
14:05They're not free to leave, but we're not taking anything away from them.
14:08I'm having fun in a fucking cop car.
14:13Fucking just so right on this bitch.
14:16She's tripping, dude.
14:17Aiden, he decided to make some Snapchat videos, making a big joke of it.
14:23This clip started going viral because of Aiden's behavior.
14:29He decides to post in the back of the cop car.
14:30Joking about it all.
14:31He's sick.
14:32He was more concerned with bragging on social media that he was being questioned by the
14:36police.
14:37It makes my blood boil, mocking the situation.
14:40There was absolutely a very strange disconnect, and you could see that this kid was not living
14:46in the same universe that we are.
14:48Aiden posts something to Snapchat with the banner of, hey guys, has anybody seen Tristan lately?
14:56All the kids in school, they all see that, begin to suspect that Aiden had something to do with it.
15:05They start resetting that post out to everybody else.
15:08On TikTok, it spread like wildfire.
15:12This just shows how little he cares about the entire situation.
15:16This is a piece of garbage that we're dealing with.
15:19Your sake.
15:20A friend of his who he had just been with the night earlier was missing.
15:24He had no sort of sympathy, not at all.
15:28These young kids will do anything to go viral.
15:32They will do anything.

15:34Tristan, if you fucking walk out the dam.
15:38He makes the comment along the lines of, hey Tristan, if you see this,
15:41you know, feel free to walk out of the, and then he stops right there.
15:44He stopped himself short of saying the woods.
15:47It was pretty, it was, I'm still in disbelief of it.
15:53Like, how can you be so callous?
15:58That showed us that he's communicating about Tristan and her whereabouts.

16:37A gentleman that lives in the area
16:44Has gone out for a run
16:45He finished his run
16:47And he went to go check behind the woods
16:49He saw that there was a person
16:52That appeared to be dead
16:53You got cops right around here
16:55You send them

17:11Our detective team immediately made
17:14A tentative ID of Tristan Bailey's body
17:17It was obvious that she was deceased
17:20And it was obvious that there was trauma to her body
17:23That she had not died naturally
17:25There were visible stab wounds
17:27My team made the instantaneous determination
17:31That we were now working a brutal, horrific murder
17:34I got a text from my sergeant asking me to come to the Bailey's address
17:45The worst part of my job is doing a death notification to the parents of a child

20:29And then how many stab

20:35And I think the whole family
20:39Couldn't process how
20:43Somebody could
20:45Do that to somebody else
20:47It was a complete loss to the family

20:53Very, very difficult to take in
20:55She had
20:57A large number of defensive wounds
20:59Meaning that she had fought back
21:01And fought back hard
21:03Tristan
21:04Fought for the things that were important
21:07And she fought hard for her life
21:10Once the details came out
21:14That Tristan had been brutally murdered
21:17People are panicking
21:18People are really, really scared
21:21It's affecting all the children
21:22It really is

21:29Because hearing it come out of someone else's mouth

21:34The pressure was on for law enforcement

23:16Aiden had a bad reputation
23:19His friends told us he had anger issues
23:22I noticed Aiden would get into physical fights with other people
23:27Students or just people we all knew in the area
23:30And then he would get into verbal fights with teachers
23:34Because he did not like anybody having authority or power over him
23:39I think he was the type of teenager that would make parents very concerned
23:45We identified another friend
23:51And they provided a lot of information
23:54Aiden kept knives
23:58He called one picker
24:01And then he called one poker
24:04They identified that Aiden loved knives
24:08And there were two particular knives that Aiden always carried
24:10He talked about wanting to kill me
24:14Sometimes he would take his knife and put it against my throat
24:19And pretend to slit my throat
24:21And Aiden and I had a dark sense of humor
24:26And I never took him seriously
24:29He asked me like what I would do if he murdered someone
24:34He would say that he would just walk at night
24:40And find like a random person walking to
24:43And just drag them in the woods and stop them
24:46He said that he thinks it's going to happen soon
24:52Within a month
24:53This is what had happened to Tristan Bailey
24:58Aiden had talked about wanting to kill somebody
25:04Saying that he was going to drag someone into the woods
25:08Kept telling people he wanted to kill a person
25:11But everyone stated nobody took these things seriously
25:14To me the red flags in the Tristan Bailey case
25:17Came directly from Aiden Fucci himself
25:20He said that he was going to stab somebody to death
25:22That he was going to drag them into the woods
25:24Why didn't these friends say anything?
25:26Why didn't they tell a teacher, a parent, a law enforcement?
25:29Had anybody that heard some of the things he was talking about
25:34Had they felt that there was somebody that they could have reached out to
25:37And say I think there's something seriously wrong here
25:41Maybe it would have changed the direction
25:43A lot of us looking at this case were quite upset
25:47These kids spent their whole lives chatting to each other online
25:52But when it came to that really crucial information
25:55About Aiden Fucci's dark fantasies
25:57If only they'd spoken out
25:59Maybe Tristan would still be alive here today

28:37What happened with this case
28:38Things we include in the search warrant
28:40Are things that include blood
28:42Crime scene technicians
28:45Locate several things of interest
28:47In Aiden's bedroom
28:48There was a white shirt
28:53That appeared to have blood stains on it
28:56We test it on site
28:58It's a presumptive positive test
29:00They find these wet jeans
29:02They run some tests on them
29:04And they determine
29:06That that is in fact blood on the jeans
29:08During the course of the search
29:11We find white Nike shoes
29:13Blood was present on all of these items
29:16That evidence is sent off
29:17Here in the state of Florida
29:19To the Florida Department of Law Enforcement
29:20Biology lab
29:22We put a rush on it
29:23They were able to find
29:25Tristan Bailey's DNA profile
29:27On Aiden's shoes
29:29In addition to that
29:32In his bathroom
29:34The sink
29:35The pipes
29:36And the drains
29:36Are tested
29:37And those were testing positive
29:39For blood
29:39They took those swabs
29:41To the sheriff's office
29:42It's blood that belongs to Tristan
29:44I went to the vigil with my mom
29:57And all my friends from school were there

33:04And building this case

33:09During this time frame
33:10Is when Aiden
33:11Murdered Tristan
33:12We actually have
33:19Arrested a suspect
33:20By the name of

33:2214 year old
33:23He's currently in custody
33:25Charged with murder
33:26Hearing of a 14 year old

33:28Such a horrible
