24:27And then the ultimate big one is my son.
24:31It's very important for me to talk about my baby.
24:36I don't talk about him as much as I should because it's painful.
24:41It hurts.
24:42But now I'm like, I need to change because the way I'm doing things,
24:47I'm not getting any better.
24:51Every emotion came over me.
24:54I was angry.
24:56I was hurt.
24:56I was pissed.
24:58I just wanted to just end the whole world.
25:00Like who could take my child?
25:02We just learned to like live with it daily.
25:05And it's very, very painful.
25:07In the black community, we are taught to be strong.

25:13But now I see that talking about grief, it helps me.
25:17It's like a weight lifted off my shoulder.
25:20And I know it's going to help someone else.
25:22There's nothing worse than losing a child and not knowing who did it, what for, and why.
25:31Sometimes you get in the bed and you don't want to get up.
25:36And if you don't have anything to get up for, you would not.
25:41Sometimes you may have to go seek a therapist.
25:44Taking care of our mental health should be a priority.
25:47I don't like to talk about my story because it makes me choke up a lot.
25:51I've experienced a lot of losses, right?
25:54I'm coming from a broken family.
25:55Like my mom left my dad because, of course, he was addicted to drugs.
26:00My brothers was the ones who raised me.
26:03And my first brother, he was killed in Jackson.
26:08That was really hard for me.
26:10I lost my second brother.
26:12And this was the one that was closest to me.
26:14I woke up.
26:15I called him.
26:15I was like, hey, bruh.
26:16You know, I dreamed that you died.
26:18And he was like, no, sis, I'm good.

26:21And that same exact day, it was like I never
26:24woke up from that nightmare.

27:46or my husband and I have lost.
27:49My husband recently lost his dad,
27:51and that was very, very hard for us.
27:54With that, with losing all my brothers,
27:57I felt like any guy that comes into my life will leave.

28:04a thousand times, right?
28:06So he's thinking, oh, you know, um,
28:08she's thinking I'm with a woman.
28:10I'm not, you know, but that's not the case.
28:12I just want to know that you're safe.

28:15My wife is mad at me because I've
28:16been sleeping in the condos above the restaurant.

28:22what's going on.
28:23She think if I'm not, if I'm not with her,
28:25she feel worried, insecure.
