00:00So, yeah, so tonight, Texans offense versus Seattle defense.
00:04The Seattle offense, boy, Robert Hensley sent you and I his notes for the game.
00:09Robert has notes, man.
00:10Robert's in the booth with Mark and Andre up there.
00:12He's on the trip.
00:13He produces.
00:13He'll join us on the – he does a great around the league segment with us
00:16on the pregame show.
00:17If you don't get to listen to the pregame show on Sunday mornings,
00:19we get started at 6 o'clock tonight.
00:21So take a listen.
00:22Robert joins us at like 6.30 tonight.
00:25He laid out all these numbers for the Seahawks offense,
00:28and there were two things that jumped out at me, Seth.
00:31One is they're really good in the numbers that matter to my people, the gamblers.
00:37Lead the league in yards per play, 6.3.
00:40Sam Darnold leads the NFL in yards per attempt at 9.6,
00:45which if you need context, just know that 9.6 is elite as elite gets in the NFL.
00:51Well, and this is the thing.
00:52I keep seeing a lot of people say, ooh, yeah, takes a lot of deep shots.
00:56Boy, the Texans defense is going to feast.
00:58No, it's – you need to understand that Sam Darnold's not an idiot anymore.
01:02He's very careful with the football.
01:03He's got the lowest turnover-worthy play rate, at least going into this last weekend in the league.
01:10Like, he's careful with the football.
01:12They do all of the things.
01:13I'm warning everybody right now.
01:15You're going to hear it on the broadcast tonight.
01:17Everything that Gary Kubiak used to talk about all the time,
01:22his son, Clint Kubiak, is the offensive coordinator,
01:24and they're doing it exactly the way it's supposed to be done.
01:27Their wide receivers block their butts off.
01:31They are – it's like everything.
01:32Every clichΓ©, they're executing it.
01:36And that was my second thing I was going to say,
01:37is that all these numbers Robert sent us,
01:40smacks of 2012 Gary Kubiak offense.
01:43You know, not just the yards per play and the yards per attempt.
01:47It's the – this is not an aerial circus.
01:49They're only throwing the ball half the time,
01:51but Sam Darnold might end up leading the league in passing yards.
01:54That's – and I'm not exaggerating.
01:56He's top three in passing yards, and they pass it the least amount –
02:00or the lowest amount in the NFL.
02:02And real quick, Seth, on the wide receivers blocking –
02:06and I know it's – I'm going to – warning.
02:08PFF grade's about to be cited.
02:10But I think in extreme situations, it's worth citing
02:12that three of the six highest graded run-blocking wide receivers
02:16in the entire league are on the Seattle Seahawks.
02:20No, I honestly – I look at the PFF scores kind of like you do –
02:23like standardized testing.
02:25It's good at telling you about a group of people,
02:27but like the one individual, you never –
02:31like if you take a bunch of kids with high SAT scores,
02:33yeah, on average that group is going to do better in college academically.
02:38But when you go – when you try to use it for one individual,
02:41okay, there's going to be a few jackasses,
02:43there's going to be a few high performers and everything.
02:45Like PFF is the same thing.
02:46If you've got a bunch of guys who are high-graded,
02:48all right, yeah, that's a good unit.
02:50Three of the six highest-graded run-blockers in the NFL.
02:53Like not in the AFC West.
02:55Like, you know, there's how many?
02:56180 that qualify for grading on PFF,
03:00and they've got three of the best six in the NFL.
03:02All right, we're off and running.
03:03Yeah, so they – but they also – they don't –
03:05they don't have an Arian Foster.
03:06Like they're not running the ball that effectively.
03:09But they're doing it enough that they face a lot of loaded boxes.
03:12Like all – they run off – they line up in formations
03:17where people put eight in the box,
03:18and then it opens up things downfield.
03:20So –
03:21so –
03:22so
03:22so
03:26so
03:28you
