00:11Adam Schefter of ESPN is reporting

00:15that for J.J. McCarthy,

00:20he thinks a week nine return

00:23against the Detroit Lions

00:26is what we should all expect.

00:29Okay.

00:30Here is the problem with the reporting from Schefter.

00:34And I know he is the biggest reporter in the world,

00:38but unfortunately that means that we all see the tweets

00:41and the tweets are there

00:42and we can go back to them whenever we want.

00:45So the most recent Adam Schefter tweet reads,

00:48when Vikings quarterback J.J. McCarthy

00:50suffered a week two high ankle sprain,

00:54doctors expected it to be a six-week injury.

00:58Nothing has changed.

00:59That's interesting.

01:01Yeah.

01:02Because when J.J. McCarthy went down with the injury,

01:07Adam Schefter tweeted,

01:11is expected to be sidelined two to four weeks

01:15with a high ankle sprain.

01:17If you have a player who is expected to miss six weeks,

01:22you put that player on IR.

01:25It's really simple.

01:30you're never playing him.

01:32So,

01:35is lying.

01:39watched the first-round quarterback

02:08It was always six weeks for J.J. McCarthy.

02:32it was weird.

02:36which attempts to

02:40McCarthy's not getting benched,

02:41they don't prefer Wentz,

02:44no,

02:44is basically confirming Joe.

02:47They're sticking with Wentz

02:48because Wentz has been

02:50much better

02:51than what they got out of their

02:53first-round draft pick

02:54of two years ago,

02:5610th overall,

02:57J.J. McCarthy.

03:27in the fourth quarter.

03:28That's all well and good,

03:30but he followed it up,

03:31getting abused by the Atlanta Falcons

03:33and potentially getting hurt,

03:35And this is it.

03:37O'Connell's dealt with injuries

03:39now in back-to-back years.

03:40He saw McCarthy go down last year,

03:43and he saw Sam Darnold

03:44had one of his most prolific

03:45passing years in his career,

03:48which led Sam Darnold

03:49to the Seattle Seahawks.

03:54I mean, come on.

03:55I mean,

03:56are you going to get that

03:57with J.J. McCarthy?

03:59Absolutely not,
