00:00This Brussels sprouts Caesar salad is the side dish you need to serve up this holiday season, or any day really.
00:05Start by shaving Brussels sprouts. This can be done with a food processor or a knife. You just want them really thin.
00:10Then toss them with olive oil, salt and pepper, and roast them in a thin layer at 450 degrees for about 10 minutes.
00:15While they cool, make the garlicky breadcrumbs. Melt butter in a skillet, add in some garlic and some fresh breadcrumbs.
00:20However, you could use panko here if you want. Get them golden and crispy and then go build the salad.
00:24Toss the Brussels sprouts with your favorite Caesar dressing, salt and pepper to taste, and some grated parm.
00:28Top with most of the breadcrumbs, a heaping pile of grated parmesan, and the remaining breadcrumbs.
00:33And oh my gosh, look at that. I'm excited about this one.
00:38Mmm. Now that's how to make a Brussels sprout exciting. That's good.
