A dramatic chase along a rocky shoreline shows a sea lion hunt down a fish in a thrilling battle.
The intense footage, filmed by AJ Hoy from Los Angeles, California, USA, captures the moment the sea lion expertly matches the fish’s every move darting back and forth through the shallow water.
Just as the fish tries to escape by circling back toward the rocks, the sea lion seizes the opportunity and dives in for the kill.
One viewer commented: “Refreshing to see seals on the predator side for a change.”
