Check out this extraordinary wildlife spectacle as a huge bait ball attracts an incredible gathering of ocean predators in a breathtaking feeding frenzy off the coast of Mexico.
Nikki Muscat, from Mellieha, Malta, captured the unforgettable encounter while out on the open ocean in Baja, Mexico.
The video shows thousands of bait fish tightly packed together as a massive pod of dolphins charges through the water, joined by sea lions, marlins and sharks all taking advantage of the feeding opportunity.
Predators dart in from every direction, creating a chaotic but mesmerising underwater scene as the bait ball constantly shifts shape in a desperate attempt to evade the relentless attacks.
One user commented: ‘It's magical.’
Another added: ‘Absolutely insane! I came a few minutes later and did not see that amount of dolphins, but what an incredible sight here in Baja!’
