00:11The communique shared by the Brazilian organization condemned that the statements made by U.S. President Donald Trump
00:18authorizing secret CIA operations in Venezuelan territory are an affront to their sovereignty and a violation of international law.
00:26It follows by denouncing that the military siege that has been carried out against the Venezuelan people
00:32with summary executions of human lives by U.S. military forces is an unacceptable practice without legal basis and without any investigation process.
00:43The Brazilian Workers' Party goes on to recall how the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency, the CIA,
00:48has some history of sponsoring and coordinating illegal and destabilizing actions in South American countries
00:55aimed at regime change in countries considered hostile by Washington,
01:00adding that these anti-democratic actions left a trail of interference,
01:06illegalities, coups, repression and bloody dictatorships across the subcontinent,
01:11and closing its statements by stressing that in the 21st century we cannot accept the repetition of practices
01:18from an oppressive and dark period and another attack on sovereignty in Latin America.
