Venezuela has launched large-scale military exercises in response to a U.S. naval buildup in the Caribbean, escalating tensions as both nations trade accusations of provocation and interference.

00:42Caracas has accused Washington of using the mission as cover to collapse Maduro's government,
00:47a claim U.S. officials denied. Tensions between the two countries have escalated since Trump's
00:52return for a second term. In recent weeks, the U.S. government has also searched troops
00:57to areas near the Caribbean, including El Salvador, Puerto Rico and Panama, for training exercises
