DIME appeared on Love Don’t Judge a year ago, in the video, he "lied about not being a furry," leading to a severe backlash from the community. "The response was pretty brutal", he admitted. Now he's back to clear his name and own up to his hobby of dressing up as his furry alter-ego. "I'm proudly a furry; it's not something I'm ashamed of. A lot has changed since the last time. I've got a new furry partner in crime that I'm happy to call mine, she's given me the confidence to be myself", he said. Dime is now with Kira, a like-minded furry who makes spicy content in her suit. She spoke about the acceptance she's found since becoming a furry, "I enjoy being in the community because of all of the creativity that goes into the fursuit and the art. It's very open, you can be from any background, any sexuality." She added, "It's given me the confidence to be comfortable in my own body." The couple has found great positivity in the collective, but there have also been dire downsides, stemming from judgment from people both inside and outside the furry world. Dime explained, "I've had people show up to my house, I've had spicy content sent to my family. I've been doxxed."

00:00Go ahead and sit down.
00:02I'm Dime.
00:04I was featured on Love Don't Judge last year.
00:07Demetrius been in love with a furry.
00:10I lied about not being a furry.
00:12I'm not very keen on the whole furry thing.
00:15The whole story was fictional.
00:17People are just odd that I don't want to hang out with very much.
00:20It's kind of like looking at a dog.
00:22The response from the furry community was pretty brutal.
00:25I've had people show up to my house.
00:27I've been doxxed.
00:28I've been doxxed.
00:29At this point, what else?
00:30I'm ready to tell the truth this time.
00:32To set the record straight, I am a furry.
00:35I'm proudly a furry.
00:36It's not something I'm ashamed of.
00:38A lot has changed since last time.
00:40I've got a new furry partner in crime that I'm happy to call mine,
00:43and she has given me the confidence to be myself.
00:45My family doesn't know that I'm a furry,
00:47but after this video, they might find out.
00:51I joined the furry community back in 2022.
00:55I just saw so much of a loving and accepting community.
01:00I do still think that it's pretty weird, but it's something that I fell in love with,
01:04and I have found my group of friends and just my group of people.
01:08I haven't told my family just because I'm a little bit on edge about what their reaction would be.
01:14Even though it's harmless, it's just dressing like a big animal.
01:18This is all just a big hobby.
01:20If it happens, it happens.
01:22I'll just keep doing what I'm doing and then answer their questions later.
01:27Me and Dime first met on Instagram.
01:29We ended up meeting up at a furry convention in Dallas.
01:32She had started working on her car, and I was like, that's a woman right there.
01:35We've been together for almost a year now.
01:37So I do spicy content with my fursuit.
01:42You know, if she needs help, I'll be there to help.
01:45Or if she needs a boy body in it, I got her.
01:48It's given me the confidence to be comfortable in my own body.
01:52Why do I think people like spicy furry content?
01:54There's a market for everybody.
01:55We have a lot of non-furries that enjoy our content.
01:58Privately, intimacy in our own behind-the-door relationship.
02:01I'm not gonna lie, I mean, I've tossed my fursuit on just because, like, I'm the big bad wolf.
02:07And it's just like two consenting adults having fun.
02:10I had gotten into the furry community probably as far back as 2016.
02:14I got my fursuit in 2022, and there's a big reason as to why I was hiding being a furry.
02:19I'm not allowed to talk the specifics, but let's just say I needed a change of scenery.
02:23And a supportive partner is the biggest, most important part, I'd say.
02:27How much I've personally spent on fursuits in the last three-ish years,
02:32I'd probably say is in that ballpark range of, like, $10,000 to $12,000.
02:36I've spent about six or seven grand on fursuits.
02:39I enjoy being in the furry community because of all of the creativity that goes into the fursuits.
02:45And because of all the art, it's very open.
02:48And I think that it's very accepting.
02:51You can be from any background, any sexuality.
02:54I've done a lot of cool things because of it.
02:56And if it wasn't for the furry community, I would not have met.
02:58Hira.
02:59I think the negative parts of the community, sometimes I think we accept the wrong people.
03:05There's cancel culture at every single corner.
03:08The furry fandom drama is just overinflated nonsense.
03:11Some of the judgment that we face as a couple is that he supposedly controls my life or objectifies me.
03:20In reality, like, we had already both have been in the OF sphere.
03:24She had wanted to do one before we met.
03:26We had people who would judge us and say that we're weirdos because we dress as animals or that we want to be animals.
03:33And I think it's best to just kind of let it roll off your shoulders.
03:37We enjoy creating content. We enjoy reading what people have to say about us.
03:40It's just kind of like a bonding activity at this point.
03:43It's engagement for us. It pushes the video out to more people, so go for it.
03:48Let's check out some of the comments we've gotten.
03:50You're so chopped. Put it back on.
03:52WTF is this. I hate it.
03:54My fault for having eyes, a brain, a phone, an internet at this point, honestly.
04:00You effing poser. Another furry with an OF dating spiral. I see he has a type.
04:05You useless, insignificant being who's known to do nothing but be an insecure, unloved, pathetic, pointless, worthless, and inferior monkey.
04:16That's crazy. Yeah.
04:18That had some thought behind it. That had some power behind it.
04:21I've had people show up to my house. I've had spicy content sent to my family.
04:25I've been doxxed. I've had like our sky view of our old place sent to us as like a, we know where you live type deal.
04:32And it just, at this point, what else?
04:35Your girlfriend sells herself little bro. She's not yours. She's mine for $5.
04:41You ain't got no girlfriend. You got a discount.
04:43Some of them are really funny. I'm not gonna lie.
04:44I have a video of someone yelling at me saying I'm gonna get deported when I was wearing my fursuit.
04:48You're gonna get deported.
04:49Deported?
04:51After so many years on social media and receiving just, you know, hate with the views that it kind of comes with the territory,
04:57I've realized the only thing that matters is my real relationship with my girlfriend, my family, my friends.
05:04I could care less what some nobody strangers online say.
05:07Our friend Profit is coming over.
05:10Profit has quit doing OF and has some concerns about probably my mental well-being because she's done it for longer than I have.
05:20What are your thoughts though on the spicy side of what we do?
05:24Obviously, I don't hold, like, judgment towards you guys for doing it.
05:29I definitely have, like, worries and stuff just from what I experienced before I retired from doing it.
05:35Mm-hmm.
05:36Well, what were some of your concerns?
05:40Having that hold you back from opportunities in the future where they look at the fact that you make content like that and might not take you this seriously.
05:52I feel like once you kind of dive into it and you've been doing it for a minute, you start realizing it's not even just, like, a digital footprint thing.
06:01It's a legitimate, like, safety thing.
06:04I've been doxxed before.
06:06I've had people coming up to me and recognizing me in public and getting very aggressive and creepy with me.
06:11So I would just hate to hear something like that happening to you guys just because, because it's your right.
06:18You should be allowed to do that without worrying about it.
06:22I mean, I think I appreciate your concerns.
06:26I know, like, I'm still very new to it.
06:29He has more experience with it than I do and, you know, tries to help me with it.
06:35But he has said that it does take, like, a mental toll and stuff too.
06:40I think that as long as I have, like, him to support me and just surround myself with support, I think, at least for a short term, that things will be okay.
06:51People have their negativity because not only are we furries, we're OF creators.
06:55That's like a double whammy on, you know, internet topics.
06:58It's whatever.
06:59People are going to be negative on anything.
07:01Someone's always going to hate on something, you know, and if it's on us, oh well.
07:04We know who we are, we know what we're doing, and we know that we're safe in it.
07:07Like, knowing you guys personally, I see that you two have very similar mindsets.
07:13I think you guys just were, like, the dream team.
07:17Why do I think our relationship works?
07:19We don't fight.
07:20We agree on almost everything besides, like, what to keep the air-conditioned at.
07:24We are very relaxed and calm.
07:27What I love most about Kira is the fact that I am allowed to be my own person.
07:31He's just so sweet.
07:33I just couldn't ask for a better partner.
07:36To the people who judge us for what we do, take a second and look in the mirror.
07:40Look at your friends, look at your family.
07:42Nobody in this world is perfect.
07:43We are all prone to mistakes, we're humans, but it's up to us to make the change and grow.
07:48We are all prone to mistakes.
07:49We are all prone to mistakes, we just need to make the change and grow.
07:51You
