00:00When you're not betting on a certain team or you're not a fan of a certain team here, right?
00:03And it's like, you know what?
00:04My Phillies are out of it here.
00:05All you want to do is sit back and watch some Major League Baseball, but also you don't want the series to hurry up.
00:11What I mean by that is these are designed to have anticipation and fun and handicapping experiences and fandom experiences in games five, six, and seven.
00:19A four-game sweep, yeah, you'd love that if you're the Seattle Mariners.
00:22But outside of that, we don't love that.
00:23Like if you're a Dodgers fan, you want a 4-0 series sweep to get to the World Series.
00:26As a fan of baseball, I don't want that.
00:28I want to see leverage.
00:29I want to see high-pressure situations late in games.
00:32I want to see teams with heroic outcomes and devastating defeats.
00:35Looks like we were heading for 4-0 series sweeps in both of these ALCS and NLCS series because 2-0 series lead is interesting if it's the home team then going on the road.
00:44But the home teams lost both of their home games before going on the road.
00:48So yesterday, I said, you know what?
00:49Seattle's going to take care of business.
00:51First inning, bang, home run Julio Rodriguez.
00:53And away you go in a 2-0 game, probably going to end up 7-1, and Toronto's not even going to make it back to Toronto there.
00:59To even play a baseball game.
01:00Little did I know, 13 runs were on the way for the Toronto Blue Jays.
01:04And everybody got out the bats.
01:06A massive win for the Blue Jays yesterday.
01:09Back in the series, Joe.
01:10Yeah, no, this was vintage Toronto, what we got there.
01:16And it looked like the first time through the order, Kirby was going to be, oh boy, here we go again, right?
01:24Vintage, just like we watched with the Dodgers starting pitchers against the Brewers hitters.
01:30Because, you know, for the most part here, this entire pitching staff of Seattle has done a great job,
01:35especially at the Rogers Center of keeping the bats in check for the Blue Jays.
01:39And it looked good through the first time through.
01:42I think he only gave up an infield single in the first two innings.
01:46And then that second time through the order, and boy, oh boy, did the aggressiveness of Toronto come through.
01:53At that point on, they just didn't stop.
01:55Five runs in the third.
01:57And then they just kept pouring it on after that.
02:00So, hey, listen, that's vintage Toronto.
02:04That's what we need to see.
02:05I don't know, Donnie, that we'll be looking at many unders in this series the rest of the way.
