00:00Whatever it is they're feeding the Philadelphia Phillies, they are eating, Joe.
00:0411-2 yesterday over the Mariners.
00:0620 more hits for the Phillies.
00:08They absolutely slayed the Mariners.
00:10The Mariners probably just got to get back to the Pacific Northwest.
00:13Mets handled their business against them.
00:14Now the Phillies clean their clock, and they get sent away at 68-60 on the season.
00:18The red-hot Philadelphia Phillies at the plate.
00:22I hope they ain't peaking too early, Joe, as we talk about,
00:24because that October surge that you need is hitting the Phillies right now at the plate.
00:30Well, we've talked about it over the last couple of weeks, Donnie.
00:33We had said that, listen, we need to see a little more consistency
00:36from this very veteran-laden lineup.
00:41There is no reason for them to have been as inconsistent as they have been,
00:45but we have also seen this from the Phillies prior, right?
00:49All of a sudden now you start getting Trey Turner and Kyle Schwarber
00:53and Harper and company now and Kasalana.
00:55All of a sudden these guys are all starting to come together
00:58with about five, six weeks left in a regular season.
01:01That's who the Phillies are.
01:03That's who they always have been.
01:05They usually kick it up a notch right about now,
01:08and they ride that into the postseason.
01:10So those bats, we know what they're capable of doing,
01:14but we also know, Donnie, that they're going to have to score
01:17and hit a lot here because I am still not crazy about that front end
01:23of the rotation now with the injuries.
01:26Nola not, it's going to take him a while to get back up.
01:30They're going to have to score and hit 20, you know,
01:32get 20 hits a game and score, you know,
01:34eight, nine runs if they're going to roll this thing right through to October.
