00:00Hey, look at those Mariners here.
00:01Going to close out the series on their way to the AL Championship Series.
00:06Just what they do.
00:07They get a nice early lead, 3-0.
00:08They hold on with that bullpen.
00:10And, oh, man, those Detroit bats just went silent at the wrong time.
00:13But did they, Joe?
00:14Three in the bottom of the fifth, four in the bottom of the sixth,
00:16tacking on runs in the seventh and the eighth inning to win 9-3
00:20to get us to a game number five.
00:23Like the heart for the Tigers yesterday.
00:25Dead and buried, back from the dead, game number five on deck.
00:29How about that performance?
00:31Yeah, I mean, finally, right?
00:32That offense finally woke up.
00:34And when you look at who did it, Donnie, right?
00:37You're talking about the number nine hitter, Javier Baez, right?
00:40Two for four, had a home run, drove in four runs.
00:44That seventh, that seven-run stretch there between the sixth and seventh innings,
00:49that was really all she wrote for Seattle at that point there.
00:54Now the big question, of course, is can they repeat that?
00:57Because if you're going to play higher-scoring games, that doesn't favor Detroit.
01:03It certainly won't favor Detroit on the road.
01:06But they did exactly what they needed to do to stave off elimination.
01:10Unlike the Yankees, you know, Detroit bats finally said,
01:14not my house, it's not going to happen.
01:17It was good.
01:18But you also, once that game started to get away,
01:21you also kind of got the feeling that the Mariners were like,
01:23all right, well, you know, we know where game five is going to be anyway.
