00:00You can just give me this one thing. Give me a Game 7 on a Saturday on a day where Daylight Savings
00:04kicks in the next day. I don't have to wake up early. I promise you I'll watch it all the way
00:08through. And not even in my wildest dreams that I think I would get that much entertainment out
00:13of the series where the Dodgers were pounding and mowing everybody down, let alone get a Game 7
00:18that would end in 11 innings and a 5-4 victory for the Dodgers when they were down 3-0 and 4-2.
00:23Home runs in the 8th inning. Home run in the 9th inning, which was unbelievable to watch that
00:28playoff. And then extra innings getting another home run. Yamamoto comes in. He was spectacular
00:33in this playoff run. Major League Baseball gave us everything we could ask for and more. What a
00:39wonderful World Series, Joe, that went to the Dodgers in seven games. And Donnie had had everything. I
00:45mean, the Game 6, 9th inning with the ball sticking, you know, underneath the wall, out the outfield.
00:53And then, of course, the double play, the way it ends there, the effort by both teams, really. I
01:01mean, just it had everything. It truly was. And maybe we'll go down as one of the greatest of all
01:08time. But as far as I can remember, this has just been one of the greatest World Series ever,
01:15given the fact that the narratives between these two teams, you know, the haves and maybe the have
01:21a little here because the stars of this series, while there were some big names that played a
01:27part, it ultimately came down to Dodger role players that were ended up making the big plays
01:34at the big moments to get it done. And whatever they paid for Yamamoto, worth every penny, Donnie,
01:41every penny, every penny.
