00:00I'm looking at the AFC, Taylor, Patriots now on top of the AFC East.

00:04They'd be the number four seed at four and two.

00:07Buffalo's right behind them.

00:07Season ends today.

00:08They're playing Buffalo on wild card weekend.

00:11The teams in front of them in the AFC, the Chargers, the Steelers, the Colts.

00:16What's the Patriots ceiling in the AFC?

00:20If this trajectory, if Drake may keep playing the way he is, like I just posted it,

00:24he has an almost perfect passer rating on deep throws, which is not everything.

00:29But it's just not a thing that really happens,

00:31and that's just kind of the cherry on top to what's been phenomenal past two weeks,

00:36really past few weeks from the second-year quarterback.

00:38So if he keeps on this trajectory, it's impossible to say he's not playing at an MVP caliber.

00:44And if you've got the MVP, that's going to get you in that upper echelon of your conference most likely.

00:50And obviously the defense still has some things to figure out, like we just mentioned, the run game.

00:54But if they can get any semblance of a run game,

00:56and the defense continues to evolve the way that we've seen,

00:59like I think they've given up a lot of big plays.

01:01But I think you can explain a lot of them circumstantially,

01:04like Spencer Rattler went off last week, right?

01:07Like he's taking what he can, and then he's also delivering on some big throws downfield.

01:11So I think the defense is going to be formidable for the rest of the season

01:14as long as they stay healthy.

01:16And again, the pass game has been excellent.

01:17So could they be one of the top one or two teams?

01:21I don't think that's crazy to say because this conference feels more wide open

01:24than it has in quite some time.

01:26Obviously the Chiefs are starting to kind of claw back,

01:28and maybe they're looking a little bit more like they're dangerous selves.

01:32But I wouldn't have said this before the season,

01:34but I don't think it's crazy to expect them to at some point with this schedule

01:37be one of the top two best teams in the AFC.

01:41I think top three with their schedule would be a disappointment

01:44if they didn't at least get there.
