00:00Good evening, I'm Trace Gallagher. It's 11 p.m. on the East Coast, 8 o'clock here in Los Angeles,
00:04and this is America's Late News, Fox News at Night. And breaking just moments ago, Los Angeles
00:10County now declaring an emergency over ICE raids and paving the way for illegal immigrants to live
00:16in one of America's most expensive cities, rent-free. Who's going to pay the landlords?
00:22Plus, a judge says this fence at the ICE facility in Broadview, Illinois, must be taken down
00:28in less than two hours, and there is no sign of that happening. And just 25 miles away,
00:34there appears to be more anti-ICE violence. Kick it back, kick it back. There you go. Yeah!
00:43Tear gas deployed after police say rioters threw objects at ICE agents, the mob trying to stop the
00:49arrest of two suspected illegal immigrants accused of ramming a Border Patrol vehicle during a car
00:55chase. Our expert panel cannot wait to dig into this. Plus, four more bodies of Israeli hostages
01:01handed over by Hamas, but 20 more remains somewhere in Gaza. And President Trump now giving the terror
01:08group crystal clear conditions. If they don't disarm, we will disarm them. They know I'm not
01:14playing games. A live report from Israel and the State Department revoking visas of foreign nationals
01:20who celebrated the death of Charlie Kirk. The announcement coming as the late conservative
01:25icon's wife accepted the Presidential Medal of Freedom on his behalf. He was free from fear.
01:33He was free from compromise, free from anything that could enslave his soul.
01:40We'll have much more on that, but we begin with Matt Finn live with yet another attack on ICE agents
01:46in Chicago. Matt, good evening. Trace, this evening, a senior DHS source tells Fox two illegal aliens from
01:52Venezuela are in custody after allegedly ramming a Border Patrol vehicle in the Chicago area this
01:58morning. These new pictures tonight show the Venezuelan nationals. The suspect in the neck brace screen
02:04left, Luis Pirella-Marreres, was ordered deported last year. Border Patrol says after the two were
02:10eventually tackled, agents deployed tear gas as they were surrounded by an angry mob throwing objects,
02:16which is a federal offense. Now, Illinois Governor Pritzker responded, writing,
02:20ICE is recklessly throwing tear gas into our neighborhoods and busy streets, including your
02:25children at school and CPD officers. The Trump administration must stop their deployment of
02:31dangerous chemical weapons into the air of peaceful American communities. Now, protests at this
02:36ICE facility in Broadview, Illinois, they're turning into riots on a weekly basis. Rioters are targeting
02:42that facility in part because agents are using the suburban location to process illegal migrants
02:48they're detaining around Chicago. And an estimated 200 National Guard troops are stationed near Chicago
02:54tonight, but a federal appeals court ruled they cannot patrol where the governor does not want them.
03:00President Trump says Illinois Governor Pritzker should be pleading for help,
03:04and he's threatening to use the Insurrection Act to override the court and Pritzker.
03:10I think he should beg for help because he's running a bad operation. One of you mentioned
03:15Insurrection Act. Yeah, I mean, I could do that.
03:19Now, Pritzker maintains his stand against the Guard and threatens that one day federal
03:23immigration agents could be prosecuted. Trace.
03:26Matt Finn live with us here. Matt, thank you. Let's bring in former television journalist now
03:30with law enforcement, Emmett Miller, along with Border Patrol's El Centro Sector Chief,
03:34Greg Bovino. Gentlemen, thank you both for coming on. I want to put the VO up again if we can here,
03:40Greg, because this is kind of amazing. It's happening again. It's happening a lot. And so day after day,
03:44you have rocks and bottles thrown at ICE officers, ICE officers trying to defend themselves.
03:49And it comes down of J.B. Pritzker, the governor of Illinois. He said the following here
03:54on Sunday. Watch this. It's very disturbing what's happening. They're overstepping the
04:00boundaries of their authority, ICE and CBP. We're going to call for accountability. And indeed,
04:06you know, the tables will turn someday. Yeah, the tables will turn. What he's calling for,
04:11chief, is that he wants the criminals to be free and he wants the ICE officers to cease and desist.
04:17Good evening, Trace. Thanks for having me. That's exactly right. The governor wants to prosecute
04:25federal law enforcement officers conducting a legal, ethical, and lawful mission while allowing
04:32violent criminals. We're not just talking about criminals. We're talking about violent criminals
04:37to roam the streets, kill Americans, place bounties on the heads of federal law enforcement
04:42officers, and do God knows what to the good citizens of Chicago and Illinois. It's amazing.
04:48Yeah, it really is. I want to play this video because this is people in Chicago and they are
04:53chanting. Listen to what they're chanting.
04:55Yeah. On top of that, keep that in mind. And now you have the cartels right in
05:12Mexico. They are targeting ICE agents. Here's Trisha McLaughlin with ICE.
05:17We're seeing that they're offering $2,000 for intelligence about our ICE law enforcement
05:22agents surrounding, including their family, to dox them. $5,000 to kidnap an ICE law enforcement
05:28agent, and then even more money to kill them.
05:31Yeah, it'd be $50,000 if you could kill them. I mean, that's the whole thing is there's literally
05:34declaring war on ICE agents and it's coming from different countries.
05:38It's coming from the cartels. And these are the same cartels that were sending the trendy
05:41Aragua guys right across the border. Trump was saying this right from the beginning. He said
05:45some of these people that are coming across the border need help. Other ones are being mixed in,
05:49people that don't mean us any goodwill whatsoever. They want to run drugs here. Some of those cartel
05:54members got up into Aurora, Colorado. They took over apartment buildings. And you're seeing the very
06:00same sorts of people now ram their cars into ICE agents. So it's being directed from overseas.
06:06It's happening on our soil. We've got to do something about it.
06:08And now you have the governor of Illinois saying these ICE agents have to stop.
06:11They are, they're literally, they're going after these criminals and they shouldn't be. The
06:15criminals should have, you know, the upper hand here and the ICE agents need to just back off and
06:19go to other places. Meantime, another threatening voicemail to ICE. Here is the voicemail and I'll get
06:25your thoughts on this chief. You know, it's always the bad guys who need masks, not the good ones.
06:33I hope every one of those lawless you call ICE officers get doxxed one by one and they get the
06:40public shaming they deserve. Trying to uphold the law. These are their neighbors, the people that live
06:46in their communities, chief. And yet they are literally viciously going after them.
06:51And it happens every day, Trace. These assaults, they happen every day. And it's that type of violent
06:59language of speech and rhetoric that causes it. JB Pritzker is certainly, you know, a reason that this
07:08is happening. But now, as you said, we've got terrorist organization overseas that are actually
07:13playing on those words by that out of control governor to hurt people, hurt Americans, hurt law enforcement,
07:20and that's not a civil society. That's not the order that we have here in America.
07:27And somewhere these cartels believe in their heart of hearts that they've got the freedom to be able
07:32to do this because the American people hate these ICE agents as much as they do. Here is the video of
07:37another alleged drug boat being struck. Watch the video here. The administration says that six
07:46people were killed in this, Emmett. Fox News headline reads as follows here. Trump touts
07:51another U.S. strike near Venezuela that killed six alleged drug smugglers. I mean, he has vowed to go
07:57after drugs. This is what the American people voted for. They saw the fentanyl, the deaths over the
08:03years. They're like, enough is enough. That's right. And that's why he closed the border. This is what's
08:07funding the cartels in the first place. This is the same Victor Maduro out of Venezuela, you know,
08:11that was opening up the prisons, right? When Trump said that they were sending some of the people here
08:15out of their prisons, he wasn't just speaking off the top of his head. There was a federal report
08:19that said that that was happening. So he has labeled these people as enemy combatants. This is the fifth
08:24time that that's happened. They've really ramped up the maritime aspect of this. And what they're trying
08:29to do is stop all the channels from feeding the people here that would do us harm. And that's what we
08:35wanted. Emmett, Greg, thank you, gentlemen. Meantime, President Trump awarding Charlie
08:41Kirk the Medal of Freedom late this afternoon to cap a busy day at the White House. The senior
08:45national correspondent, Kevin Cork, live in D.C. with the very latest on this. Kevin, good evening.
08:49Great to see you, Trace. The president continuing to keep a schedule that would make a personal trainer,
08:55you know, really, frankly, impressed if you think about it. Talk about endurance. Fresh from that
08:59whirlwind trip to the Middle East, the president again today hitting the ground running,
09:03welcoming the president of Argentina, Javier Millet, who was able to secure a $20 billion
09:09commitment from the White House to bolster his country's economy. That's good. That plus an all
09:15hands on deck cabinet meeting, fielding questions ranging from the government shutdown to peace in
09:20the Middle East. And what happens if Hamas fails to disarm? We have told them we want disarm and they
09:30will disarm. And if they don't disarm, we will disarm them. And it'll happen quickly and perhaps
09:36violently. Duly noted. The president also revealed, as you pointed out, Trace, the Secretary of War,
09:42Pete Hegseth, ordered destroyed a vessel conducting narco trafficking off the coast of Venezuela.
09:48And later on, of course, he joined hundreds, including Erica Kirk. In a celebration of the life of
09:53slaying conservative activist, Charlie Kirk, awarding him posthumously the Presidential Medal of Freedom
09:59on what would have been his 32nd birthday. A beautiful ceremony indeed. And the pace continues
10:05because on Friday, the president is expected to welcome the president of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky,
10:11to discuss the ongoing conflict with Russia. Never a dull moment, Trace.
10:15Never a moment. Kevin Cork, live for us in D.C. Kevin, thank you. You bet.
10:24Well, the Fox News Tonight Common Sense Department couldn't help but notice that California Governor
10:28Gavin Newsom continues to think he's the funniest politician in the country. Newsom has been mocking
10:34President Trump on social media for months. And apparently he thinks it's a big hit because he
10:39keeps doing it. The night that Trump was flying to sign the Middle East peace deal, Newsom posted about
10:44Trump having trouble with an umbrella. The message was that even historic moments could use a little
10:51levity. And of course, Newsom's followers thought it was a laugh riot, chuckles the governor, strikes
10:56again. Then Newsom decided it would be a good idea to mock both Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu as
11:04dumb and dumber, posting a picture of the 1994 movie featuring Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels.
11:10But on the way to the comedy club, Governor Newsom finally ran out of shtick. The social media
11:17backlash was quick and decisive. Turns out mocking peace and hostages reuniting with families after
11:24two years of intense suffering is not funny, not clever, not anything but mean. And it reportedly was
11:32posted for 13 hours before Newsom or his team took it down. Newsom began his social media mockery to gain
11:40recognition and it worked. Common sense is pretty sure people will long remember this bad idea,
11:47this bad governor, AKA dumb and dumber. Let's bring in California Assemblywoman Alexander Macedo and the
11:57Amy Robbins show host, Alexa Athletica CEO Amy Robbins. Thank you both for coming on. Ali, to you first. I mean,
12:03we sat here on this set last night. We had panelists. We were playing that video. I mean,
12:08every one of them had tears come to their eyes. Normal, right? It's normal. And then you have
12:13the governor of this state literally mocking, having this dumb and dumber thing about the
12:18president and Netanyahu on the, on the, the day of, of these reuniting hostages with their families.
12:25It's, it's fairly inexcusable. What do you think? Trace, this has been consistent for him and he
12:30obviously has learned nothing from Katie Porter who very publicly showed exactly who she is. And this is
12:35what's so disgusting to me about the progressive left. They have gone unchecked for so long,
12:39especially here in California, that they make mockeries of people's lives and people struggling
12:44and people's pain and suffering. Those days are over. And I hope the American people are watching
12:48as Gavin Newsom makes a big for the White House. He is, all he's looking for is social media attention
12:53and his solidification of his nomination. He doesn't care about you. He doesn't care about your
12:57families, let alone people having one of the most memorable moments of their life after being
13:02reunited after two years of misery. It's absolutely disgusting. Yeah. And it, to me, it seems like
13:06they pulled it down in 13 hours because somebody somewhere is like, wow, bad, very bad idea. They
13:11finally pulled it down. Here's Joe Biden thinking about the peace deal, talking about the peace deal.
13:17And it happened during the debates in 2024. Uh, I mean, I'll get your, your take on this,
13:23but remember exactly the state that Joe Biden was in. Watch.
13:27The first stage is we trade the hostages for a ceasefire. Second phase is a ceasefire with
13:34additional conditions. The third phase is no, the end of the war. The only one who wants the
13:40war to continue is Hamas. Number one, they're the only ones standing out. We're still pushing hard
13:45from, to get them to accept.
13:47I mean, this administration keeps saying, oh no, no, we're the ones that laid the groundwork for
13:51this, Amy. And, and, and Trump just pushed it over the finish line. They were coming at this
13:55from the left's angle, right? They came at this the way that AOC would come out of peace deal
13:59instead of the way that Benjamin Netanyahu wanted to come out of peace deal.
14:03Yeah. Trace, I mean, you can't make this stuff up. It's like Joe Biden woke up from his nap and
14:08suddenly wanted to take credit for Trump's Gaza triumph by saying that his groundwork is what made
14:15it happen. But please, under Joe Biden, hostages were rotting while he was sending billions to
14:20Iran's terrorist pals. And then on the flip side, you have president Trump who swoops in,
14:26starts to twist some arms in Egypt, and then he frees every last living hostage and suddenly
14:31sleepy Joe wants a participation trophy. Well, I'm sorry. They're not handing those out in this game.
14:37It's actually quite laughable. And we all know who the real hero is in this story. And it is the
14:41one who put America first, not fiction first.
14:44Yeah. I wanted to get your take on this, Ali, the breaking news. I hate to keep pushing the breaking
14:48news on you. But we just learned tonight that the L.A. County Council voted to declare a state
14:52of emergency in California to give those affected by the ICE raids, right, meaning the illegal
14:58immigrants, criminal illegal immigrants in this state, one of the most expensive states in the
15:03nation, free rent. And the question is, who's going to pay for all this? The state can't afford
15:08it. The landlords have to pay for it. What's the deal here? You're giving these people who might
15:13be criminals who likely are, says ICE, free rent. Well, there's a couple things here,
15:17Trace. The first one is I want them to look the people who lost their homes in the fires
15:21in Southern California in the face when they don't have homes to return home to. And they
15:25don't know when they're going to. Meanwhile, they're paying rent or living in hotels. I also
15:29want to know if they're willing to open up their guest rooms, their garages, even their own
15:33couches to these same people to live their rent free as long as they need to. It's so disgusting
15:38to me the amount of virtue signaling that happens. And L.A. County is in a deficit, an extreme
15:43budget deficit. And then they wonder why people are exiting L.A. in droves. This is probably
15:49a good sign of why. And it's so tone deaf. I don't know when we're going to start understanding
15:54that we have to put American citizens first. And while we're housing insecure in so many
15:58places and struggling to have enough housing, we're giving free housing to people. Free housing.
16:02But there is nothing free, Trace. When are people going to wake up? There's a cost somewhere
16:07and landlords can't bear this cost. We have the highest homeless population
16:10in the country and they're going to give people who are not citizens of this country
16:14free rent. Amy Charlie Kirk, Medal of Freedom today on what would have been his 32nd birthday.
16:20Here is his wife, Erica Kirk. This is not a ceremony. This is a commissioning. And my message
16:29is simple. I want you to be the embodiment of this medal. I do. I want you to free yourself
16:39from fear. I want you to stand courageously in the truth.
16:43And this continues to grow, Amy. I mean, it's amazing.
16:48Yeah, absolutely. Look, as someone who has been an ambassador for Turning Point for nearly
16:51a decade, I've spoken at many Turning Point events. I thought this was such a beautiful way
16:55to honor not only his life, but to immortalize the legacy of a man who woke up a generation
17:01to fight for family, for faith, and for the flag. And I just couldn't think of a better way
17:08to really just make Charlie's name go down forever in our nation's history books. And I do believe
17:14that his light will be the conservative's torch for generations to come.
17:18Yeah. Amy, Ali, thank you both. Meantime, the 20 Israeli hostages are spending their first full
17:25day of freedom following their release by Hamas terrorists. We are also learning details tonight
17:29about some of the people who held them captive. The chief national security correspondent Jennifer
17:34Griffin is live in Tel Aviv with more. Jennifer.
17:40Trace, President Trump had a stern message for Hamas, which is already in breach of the agreement,
17:47having only released eight of the deceased hostages. They were supposed to release 28.
17:53Four additional coffins were returned to Israel tonight, bringing the total to eight. Israeli police
18:01bowed their heads to show respect as the deceased hostages were taken to the forensics lab in Tel Aviv
18:08for identification. Israel returned 45 Palestinian corpses late Monday. It must return 15 dead Palestinians
18:16for every Israeli who was killed and returned. Now we must bring everyone back. That is the only way
18:25this story can truly end. In Gaza, Hamas terrorists continued carrying out extrajudicial killings in
18:34public squares of those they suspect of collaborating with Israel and clans they think could threaten their
18:42authority. Fox obtained this video from a Palestinian who we've known for years showing his house before
18:48October 7th. This is what he found when he returned home after the ceasefire. President Trump was asked on
18:55his way back to the United States about a Palestinian state. I'm talking about something very much different. We're
19:03talking about rebuilding Gaza. I'm not talking about single state or double state or two state.
19:11For now, no countries have signed up to serve as a peacekeeping force or to disarm Hamas every day
19:18that goes by, Trace, that there isn't a stabilization force in Gaza. Hamas fighters are filling that vacuum.
19:25Trace? Jennifer Griffin, live for us in Tel Aviv. Jen, thank you. Let's bring in Fox News contributor,
19:30Dr. Mark Siegel. Dr. Mark, great to have you on as always. You write this on foxnews.com, quoting,
19:35yes, there are variations of the degree of starvation, torture, mental anguish and deprivation,
19:40the degree of exposure to respiratory and gastrointestinal infections, not to mention the compounded
19:46torment for those who have been injured, beaten or shot, and for those with underlying medical
19:51conditions that are not being treated. I mean, it's these hostages. You look at them and they
19:57look healthy, but it can be very deceiving as you point out, doctor. And Trace, we're learning even
20:03more today. As Jennifer Griffin just said, and has been reported throughout the day,
20:08the starvation is extreme and you can't actually just reverse starvation right away. Malnutrition,
20:15vitamin deficiencies, those have to be replaced gradually. Otherwise, you get into another metabolic
20:21arrangement that's not as bad as the starvation, but it's quite bad. And so we're seeing a combination
20:26of physical and psychological issues. The kidneys are involved. We're seeing kidney problems, heart
20:33problems, heart arrhythmias that have occurred or can occur. So the idea of broken bones that were
20:40untreated, shrapnel injuries that were untreated, all of that is in play here. You can fix a broken bone,
20:47but you can't fix the metabolic situation so quickly, and definitely not the psychological
20:52problems. And you write this, Dr. Siegel, what all the 20 living hostages released from captivity in
20:58Gaza on Monday have in common is courage, hope, and life. That is not to say they aren't suffering
21:03or won't continue to suffer. Still, they can hold fast to the belief that they have been chosen by God
21:09to survive. I mean, so they have a reason they are here. Does confidence help the long-term recovery?
21:18There's no question about that. And that's really the heart of it, that God chose them to be the
21:23ones who survived. And some of the people that I interviewed from October 7th said,
21:29these are miracles that we're survived, but we don't want to focus on the word miracle. Even though
21:33I wrote about that in my book about miracles, they don't want to focus on that because of the people
21:38who didn't make it, because of the people who didn't survive. And so the issue here is that
21:45they don't want to be singled out for it. But is that courage that will lead to longer-term recovery?
21:51Definitely. It's a positive, positive note. And unfortunately, Trace, it's also reminiscent
21:56of Auschwitz and the Holocaust.
21:58I mean, it's awful. I know I got to go, Dr. Butter, but how long will it take to treat the
22:02flashbacks and the nightmares and the anxiety?
22:07That will be ongoing cognitive behavioral therapy for years, and different medications will be tried
22:12on and off for years. There'll be problems with nightmares, with dreams, with depersonalization,
22:18problems with reality for years, if they ever fully recover. Having loving families around
22:24is key, and having loving people in the hospital. Sheba Medical Center has been an extraordinary
22:29preparing support services, compassion, sensitivity, all in play.
22:33Yeah. Dr. Mark, thank you for your time. We always appreciate it. Coming up,
22:37the mainstream media's never-ending villainization of ICE.
22:40Ice is violating American citizens' rights.
22:45Meantime, actor Alec Baldwin in Hot Water yet again.
22:49I hit a tree. I hit a big, fat tree, and crushed my car, my wife's car.
22:54The Nightly Scroll has the dash cam video, and later in the nightcap.
23:00The guy is handsome, but they try to make him look like this evil, fascist dictator,
23:05because that's what they've called him for 10 years.
23:07President Trump calling out Time Magazine over what he says is a bad photo of him on their latest cover.
23:14Do you like the cover photo? Do you think Time intentionally picks something unflattering?
23:19Let us know. X Instagram, Trace Gallagher. We'll read your responses coming up in the nightcap.
23:32Well, beyond the headlines, here's what we are scrolling through tonight.
23:35Dramatic dash cam video of actor Alec Baldwin ramming his SUV head on into a tree on Long Island.
23:42Baldwin claims the garbage truck cut him off, causing him to swerve and crash the car.
23:48Plus, a San Diego Zoo gorilla charging his own habitat, shattering one out of three layers of
23:54tempered glass, leaving witnesses in shock. It's unclear why exactly the gorilla named Denny
24:00charged the glass. Thankfully, nobody was injured. And a nude, or I guess nearly nude,
24:07a bicycle group protesting ice in Portland, biking to the city's ice facility, yelling F ice and making
24:13obscene gestures toward agents. Some even having slogans like no Kings written on their nude bodies.
24:20The strange protest receiving a wide range of reactions, as you might imagine online.
24:26They are not there to keep the peace. They are there, I believe, to incite these protests that Donald Trump is
24:34now using as an excuse to bring in the federal troops. Ice is violating American citizens rights.
24:42They are detaining American citizens for days on end.
24:46Hmm. That is a democratic strategist on CNN, pushing the liberal narrative against the president's
24:52crackdown on illegal immigration. Let's bring in political consultant Michelle Backus, along with
24:57talk radio host and Seattle red dot com creator Jason Rance. Thank you both for coming on. Michelle,
25:02to you first. I mean, you look at CNN, you hear that kind of talk all day long. And
25:07is it any surprise to anybody that there's kind of this war on ice?
25:13Let's just remember during the Obama administration, there were over 3 million deportations. I mean,
25:19he was called the deporter in chief. So I don't remember the left wing media crying out about any of
25:26that. We all remember those viral pictures of kids in cages. Where was the outcry? Where were the
25:31protests during all that? It seems as if this is pretty hypocritical. But again, it's just another page
25:38out of the left wing media book here. Which is a great segue to Jason Rance,
25:42because let's talk about the deporter in chief, Barack Obama, the former president,
25:47scolding Hispanic men for voting for Trump. He said the following here, Jason.
25:52If you are a Hispanic man and you're frustrated about inflation and so you decided, you know what,
26:00all that rhetoric about Trump doesn't matter. I'm just mad about inflation. And now, you know,
26:05your sons are being stopped in L.A. because they look Latino. Well, that's that's that's a test.
26:13Oh, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Are you kidding me? This is the same. And Trump administration,
26:18Jason, would have to be on steroids to be able to gather up the amount of people that he deported
26:23during, I don't know, 2015, 2014, 2013? Yeah, he knows that. I mean, he knows exactly
26:31what he's doing here. This is all strategic in the messaging. But ultimately, it's going to backfire,
26:36because number one, he brings up inflation. Well, inflation has been coming down steadily,
26:40thanks to Donald Trump. But ultimately, this whole idea that you're essentially saying that you're a
26:43sellout as a Latino because you voted for Donald Trump. Look what he's now doing.
26:48I imagine, again, you could look at the polling that most people don't want criminal illegal
26:53immigrants in this country. And merely because one happens to be Latino doesn't mean that they are
26:59OK with the open borders that happened under the Biden administration. And it's pretty clear where
27:06people are standing. Again, it's not like anything that Donald Trump is doing right now is completely
27:11out of the blue, that he didn't talk about this during the campaign. And yet, Latino voters went
27:16to him in record numbers precisely because he cares about this issue.
27:21Meantime, you have the late night host, Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert,
27:25it kind of given Trump credit for the whole peace deal thing, kind of,
27:30and then they have to come back door slam. Watch this.
27:33Good work on that one, President Trump. Now, maybe you can not invade Portland.
27:40Just an idea. I'm fine with coming up with prizes and trophies to motivate him.
27:45Give him the Nobel reopen the government and leave health care a loan prize.
27:49How dare you, Nobel committee? The man is a paragon of peace.
27:54He walks in the footsteps of Mahatma Gandhi and Martin Luther King. After all,
27:58who can forget what Nelson Mandela famously declared upon leaving prison? Fat,
28:03talentless Rosie O'Donnell should go back to Ireland.
28:06Did you expect more, Michelle? I mean, you know, this was coming, right?
28:12We all saw it coming. But I'll tell you what, ending eight wars seems like pretty good merit for
28:17the Nobel Peace Prize. It's crazy that they're trying to stretch this at this point. Let's go
28:21back to Barack Obama. He seems to be the character of the night when he won the peace prize back in 2009.
28:26Now, it's said that they end the nominations in January. So if that's the case, Obama was in office
28:33for just about a month when he was nominated. It seems as if it was a participation trophy,
28:38which we all know the Democrats and the left wing media just love to hand out those.
28:42Yeah. So I want to get this right now, Jason, for you. This is first, we're going to play
28:47George Stephanopoulos cutting off the vice president of the United States. And then we're going to pay the
28:51president of the United States cutting off ABC. Watch. You did not answer the question. Thank you
28:57for your time this morning. No, I said that I don't. Next, we'll be right back.
29:01I don't take questions from ABC fake news after what you did
29:05with Stephanopoulos to the vice president of the United States. I don't take questions from ABC fake
29:11news. Yeah, but it's only a matter of time before you hear, oh, there's the president going after free
29:16speech. Yeah, exactly. Don't give them any ideas. I mean, I feel like the last 12 hours,
29:22they haven't used that one yet, but now they might. You know, I will say this and to the
29:26credit of this administration, they talk to people they know are not going to be fair
29:30that they assume probably will end up cutting them off in these interviews. And I would rather
29:36have the live interview that maybe gets cut off than the one that's pre-recorded that gets edited
29:41with an inch of its life to make them look good and the White House look poorly. I think at the
29:47end of this, George Stephanopoulos, who is a clown, he is a joke. He's a Democrat operative. I think
29:52he's the one who came off really poorly here. Yeah. Jason, Michelle, thank you both.
29:58Coming up, singer-songwriter John Andrasik joins us live on set right here for a special performance
30:05and tribute to the Israeli hostages that you do not want to miss. Long time coming.
30:12Come back. Join us. It'll be great.
30:21Yeah, the emotional scenes of hostages reuniting with their loved ones in Israel, very poignant for
30:51one artist who for two years, two very long years, has lent his voice and his music to the cause of
30:57bringing them home. Let's bring in Five for Fighting singer-songwriter John Andrasik. You know, you
31:03see these pictures, John. We were here on the set last night and we had Sheila Nazarian and we had
31:07Shirin Yadigar and we had Aaron Cohen. And you know, everybody's tearing up because it's really hard to
31:13watch that for an extended period of time and not cry. And this means a lot to you. And I know you
31:19wanted to come on. You said, listen, I want to wait until we know these people are out because
31:24it's just too hard to sit and wait and hope they come out, right? You know, it's truly a miracle.
31:30I can't believe we're sitting here in their home. I think so many of us never thought we'd see this
31:34day. And it's just wonderful to see. I keep thinking about two women in particular. One, Adit O.L.,
31:41Alon's mom, who I've been working with for over a year. And the other is Rachel Goldberg,
31:46who lost her son Hirsch, but continue to advocate for the hostages to this day. She texted me today.
31:52And if that doesn't reflect the spirit of the Israeli people and their humanity and courage,
31:57I don't know what is. And again, I have to say, it's also a triumph of good over evil in a world
32:03where we've forgotten the difference. And it doesn't happen without President Trump, Marco Rubio and Trace,
32:09frankly, folks like you too, and your colleagues at Fox News who have kept the hostages in front
32:15and center. And I want to give you this. I brought you this. This is a dog tag that was given to me
32:19at Hostage Square to thank people who have been telling their stories and keep them
32:25front of mind. So this is my gift for you for all that you have done.
32:28This is very nice. I just really want to I want to mention that we talked to the Goldbergs as well.
32:32Yes, this is very kind of you. Thank you to the Goldbergs right after October 7. We went to Israel.
32:36They opened up their home for everybody because they wanted to get the word out. They would do
32:40anything. They would speak in New York and they would do anything to help Hirsch. They would do
32:46anything at all. And when it finally came, the word that that he was no longer with us. I mean,
32:51you can imagine how many are devastated because of this. The people who have not gotten their remains back,
32:56still a long battle to go. And we need to keep them in our hearts, too. But we can also celebrate
33:02this joyous occasion. And to see these images, to see alone with Adit, again, it makes you believe
33:12in a higher power. Yeah. Superman is people that they don't know or they don't remember the younger
33:17people that it was an anthem for 9-11, right? And it's become an anthem again for the hostages. You
33:22were in Hostages Square, right? You have been there. You have been fighting this. When the
33:26missiles came in from Iran, you were there. You were performing. It's very special to you. And
33:31you're going to share this with us tonight. It's Freedom Square now, isn't it? Yes. Yes. Freedom
33:35Square. Yes. And here is Superman to recognize all the hostages, those that came home and those that
33:42were..force those that we do said. Yes, it did not.
33:57I can't stand to fly I'm not that naive
34:01I'm just out to find
34:07A better part of me
34:11I'm more than a bird
34:14More than a plane
34:16More than some pretty face
34:20Beside a train
34:21And it's not easy
34:23To be me
34:31Wish that I could cry
34:36Fall upon my knees
34:41Find a way to fly
34:44To a home I will soon see
34:48It may sound absurd
34:51Don't be naive
34:53Even heroes have the right to bleed
34:57I may be disturbed
35:00Won't you conceive
35:02Heroes have the right to dream
35:06And it's not easy
35:08To be me
35:12And above and away
35:19Away from me
35:21Now it's alright
35:23You can all sleep some tonight
35:28I'm not crazy
35:30For anything
35:34I can't stand to fly
35:39I'm not that naive
35:43Men were meant to ride
35:49With clouds between their knees
35:53I'm only a man in a funny red sheet
35:57Digging for kryptonite
36:00On this one-way street
36:02Only a man in a funny red sheet
36:06It's not easy
36:08It's not easy
36:08It's not easy
36:13It's not easy
36:15To be
36:17Me
36:20Welcome home
36:29Very nice
36:33John Andrasik
36:34Thank you
36:34So much for that
36:35It's a big moment
36:37It really is
36:38John thank you

37:10Tonight's topic
37:11Time Out
37:12President Trump
37:13Is calling out
37:14Time Magazine
37:15Over what he says
37:16Is a bad photo of him
37:17In their latest cover
37:18What do you think
37:19Do you like the cover photo
37:21Do you think Time
37:22May have intentionally
37:23Picked something
37:24Unflattering
37:25They would never do that
37:26Jason Rance
37:27Would they
37:28Yeah no
37:29Of course
37:30What are you talking about
37:31They've been so fair
37:32To this president
37:33If I'm the person
37:34Who made this decision
37:35And let's say
37:36That it wasn't intentional
37:37I would say
37:38It's intentional
37:39Otherwise
37:40The level of incompetence
37:41Is staggering
37:42Yeah
37:43Kevin Korg
37:44What do you think
37:45Done on purpose
37:46Done to be jerks
37:47There's so many pictures
37:49They could have used
37:50That's alright though
37:51You can't diminish
37:52What he's accomplished
37:53Yeah
37:54We talked to Brianna Lyman
37:55Last night about this
37:56Christina
37:56And she was saying
37:57Yeah but you know
37:58There's the way
37:58That's angled
37:59You've got this space
38:00And it kind of looks
38:01Like the
38:02The you know
38:03The attempted assassination
38:04Where you have this
38:04Where it looks
38:05He looks stronger
38:06What do you think
38:07I don't know
38:08I don't know any friend
38:09Who would want
38:09A picture taken
38:10Of them
38:10Exactly
38:11If any of my friends
38:12Post anything
38:13On TikTok or Insta
38:14Of me
38:15That we're not
38:15We have problems
38:16Alright
38:16Hallie?
38:17As somebody who has
38:19Their photo taken
38:20At the most
38:20Inopportune times
38:21Yes it's never fun
38:22When those horrible
38:23Photos are taken
38:23Especially when my mom
38:24Who thinks that angle
38:25That very low angle
38:26Is flattering
38:26It's not
38:27I get it
38:28But at the end of the day
38:29The content of what it was
38:30Which is a historic moment
38:31For the Trump administration
38:32Is the main thing
38:34That I want people to focus on
38:35Not the photo
38:36So anyway
38:37Yeah I get it
38:37President Trump
38:38But take your moment
38:39And enjoy it
38:40Abbott
38:40Yeah but wasn't that
38:41The second time
38:42He's only the first president
38:43To have been on the cover
38:44Of Time magazine
38:45Two times in one year
38:46Sure
38:46Okay so
38:47And listen to this
38:48The guy who took the photo
38:50Evan Vucci
38:50Was also the guy
38:51Who took the fight fight fight photo
38:53Wow
38:53So it wasn't about
38:54The photographer
38:55It might have been
38:56Somebody else
38:56But look
38:56I don't think
38:57He can take a bad photo
38:58John
38:59Well as somebody
39:00Who's hair challenged
39:01Any picture with hair
39:03Is good
39:03But I'm just thinking
39:04About the poor folks
39:06Over time
39:06That are so distraught
39:08From having to give
39:09President Trump
39:10Any credit
39:10I'm going to bring
39:11Them puppies
39:11Tomorrow
39:12I'm going to bring
39:13Them some puppy therapy
39:14Because they are so
39:15Depressed
39:16And just pulling
39:18Out their guts
39:19I think that's why
39:19They didn't give
39:20The flattering picture
39:21But hey
39:21He deserved it
39:23And give them
39:24A little credit
39:24For giving them
39:25The hat tip
39:26Leo says
39:27They were stuck
39:27With a positive story
39:28So they tried to
39:29Offset it with
39:30A negative photo
39:31D says
39:31I like it
39:32Makes everyone
39:32Have to look up to him
39:34Whitney as a
39:35Former photographer
39:3614 years
39:36That photo was not
39:37Flattering
39:37I wouldn't have
39:38Even delivered it
39:39To a client
39:40Much less submitted it
39:41For the cover
39:41Of a national magazine
39:42William
39:43Plausible deniability
39:44His face looks good
39:45But they know
39:46How he feels
39:47About his hair
39:48Bob I've seen
39:49Better inmate
39:50Booking photos
39:51Free birth
39:51I like it
39:52Time was hoping
39:53To make him look bad
39:54But the photo shows
39:54A bright heaven
39:55Above shining down
39:57On him
