00:00So I've been speaking with the First Peoples Assembly over many months.
00:04I've spoken with them today and shared with them our position.
00:08We could just oppose the treaty, and we will oppose the treaty,
00:12but we have a focus and a solution for closing the gap, service delivery,
00:17for supporting Indigenous Victorians to be the very best that they can
00:22and be holistic across the whole of our state.
00:26So it's part of being solution focused.
00:30Certainly the First Peoples Assembly respect that we have a position
00:33and I respect that they have a position.
00:36We don't agree on the positions, but this is important because we wish to
00:42and we need to govern for all Victorians.
00:46We need to understand where the need is and meet that need,
00:50and First Nations Victoria will do that when we form government.
