00:08Fantagram is here. How are you guys?
00:10Well, how are you?
00:11Doing great.
00:12Really well. Let's describe what's happening just off camera.
00:14Okay.
00:15Tell everybody what we're looking at and taking pictures of currently.
00:18Taking pictures of a little dog named Leroy the Good Boy.
00:21He's our official road dog.
00:23He comes out every tour for support.
00:26What else? For what else? I guess that.
00:28He likes to rock and roll.
00:30He likes to go to the mall.
00:31He goes to Hot Topic.
00:32Yes, he loves.
00:33The mall is very underrated.
00:34He's a mall rat.
00:35He's on to something.
00:36He literally is.
00:37What does he do during the shows?
00:38Just hang out in the green room?
00:39Just kick it?
00:40Yeah, he usually just kind of chills and sleeps and waits.
00:43What a life.
00:44I don't know.
00:45Yeah, it's pretty good.
00:46You gotta love that.
00:47Speaking of shows, you guys had one last night, right?
00:49Yes.
00:50Pemos.
00:51How was that?
00:52It was awesome.
00:53It was great, yeah.
00:54One of your favorite venues around Austin?
00:56You guys have played here for years.
00:57I mean, that was really.
00:58I really liked demos.
00:59It sounded amazing.
01:00And then we did ACL.
01:02What was that ACL room that we played in February?
01:05Line at the Mooney Theater?
01:06Yes.
01:07Yes, that's a good one too.
01:08That one's fairly new-ish.
01:10That place is amazing.
01:12It is.
01:13Great acoustics there.
01:14I mean, they built it for shows.
01:15I mean, it's, yeah.
01:16It was amazing, yeah.
01:17Love that.
01:18You guys obviously have been touring for a little bit.
01:19Are we at the point now where we're like getting a little tired?
01:22Not like of this current tour.
01:23Are we like starting to get worn down a little bit?
01:25Are we still, do we still have the energy?
01:27Are we good?
01:28I mean, I feel energetic, but you get tired too.
01:31We've, we did like three really like back to back things that like early morning things
01:39and then later things.
01:40Right.
01:41That gets pretty tiring, but I feel good.
01:43Yeah.
01:44I mean, the stuff that we used to do when we first started out, this is, this is luxury.
01:51Yeah.
01:52Right.
01:53You know, so.
01:54We got a dog, everything's fine, everything's good.
01:55I mean, cut to South by Southwest, our first time playing nine shows in one day.
02:00Wow.
02:01Do you remember what year that was?
02:022010 or 11?
02:03Yeah, I'm about to say.
02:04Oh.
02:05No, no.
02:06It was a two piece.
02:07Yeah.
02:08It was eight.
02:09Yeah.
02:102008?
02:11Yeah.
02:12It must've been like shortly after that.
02:13Yeah.
02:14Nine in one day.
02:15How do you even like keep like a vocal through nine gigs in one day?
02:19I don't know.
02:20I don't know how I did.
02:21I mean, I was a lot younger back then.
02:22So I, my vocals, my vocals were younger.
02:25Do you have any, besides Leroy, of course, do you have any other tour essentials that you
02:29guys like to bring with you?
02:31After all these years of touring, I'm sure you've learned like what works and what doesn't
02:35kind of thing.
02:36Yeah.
02:37Do you have to over pack these days?
02:38Yeah.
02:39Cause you tend to over pack, but it seems like this current tour I under packed.
02:44Yeah, you did, didn't you?
02:45So you gotta like send people out to get you like t-shirts and stuff like, like what I'm
02:50wearing right now.
02:51Um, but the biggest thing for me essentially is just make sure you pack enough socks and
02:56underwear.
02:57I was gonna ask you this.
02:58Electro lights.
02:59Yes.
03:00I don't know how this is for women, but for guys, I feel like we pack like three times
03:03the amount of underwear that we need for some reason.
03:05Yeah.
03:06Well, when you're sweating and playing on stage, like I'll, I don't know if this is even
03:11appropriate, but I'll change my underwear.
03:13Like three, I'll shower like three times in a day.
03:15If I, you know.
03:16I think it would be inappropriate if you said you didn't do this.
03:18I wear the same one for a week.
03:20Yeah.
03:21Oh, there's plenty of musicians who don't show.
03:22Oh yeah.
03:23We won't name names.
03:24Yeah.
03:25For sure.
03:26Uh, shout out.
03:27Congrats on the new single Earthshaker.
03:28Talk to everybody about the inspiration behind this, uh, this most recent record.
03:31Love it.
03:32Yeah.
03:33That song was, we were, we were experimenting, like playing drum loops or playing drum, uh,
03:41breaks and stuff.
03:42Trying to make our own samples kind of like a, like a late sixties drum sound.
03:48So we experimented with that and played the drums and then kind of chopped them up and
03:52looped them.
03:53And also sort of like influenced by like late sixties soul and funk, but also like kraut
03:59rock.
04:00Okay.
04:01Like bands like can or, uh, ESG.
04:03Yeah.
04:04Oh.
04:05And then like ESG, like post-punk kind of New York city bands.
04:07And yeah.
04:08And then.
04:09Yeah.
04:10Came into the fanagram sounds.
04:12Yeah.
04:13Awesome.
04:14Uh, we love it.
04:15Uh, what's looking like, uh, the rest of the year, 2026.
04:17Do we have any early kind of ideas of plans or just living life festivals, touring?
04:22Yeah.
04:23Uh, I know recently I loved big grams.
04:26It's one of my favorite things.
04:27I know I saw a couple of years ago, you guys talked about maybe revisiting that, doing something
04:31with that.
04:32Is that still something that could possibly happen?
04:34Yeah.
04:35Yeah.
04:36Yeah.
04:37And we're, we're gonna try to fly, uh, fly down to Atlanta when we're off of this tour
04:44and work.
04:45It's thank on you for a bit.
04:46Nice.
04:47So this could be happening sooner than we think.
04:48Maybe.
04:49Yeah.
04:50Well, yeah.
04:51Not another 10 years.
04:52Right.
04:53It's been 10 years.
04:54Exactly.
04:55We don't want to wait 10 years.
04:56Where does the time go?
04:57It's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
04:58Yeah.
04:59Yeah.
05:00It's such an honor.
05:01Yeah.
05:02You know?
05:03Huge.
05:04Yeah.
05:05Paving the way for you guys who will be there eventually.
05:06Absolutely.
05:07So there you go.
05:08Thank you guys so much for doing this.
05:09Enjoy Austin.
05:10Enjoy the show tonight.
05:12Well.
